Please (in detail) describe the incident: Myself and jenson initiated a police hostage taking with plans for a second officer to be kidnapped also.. on initial abduction he was compliant and all was going well.. we took him to an undisclosed location where we began to remove all items from his person.. at this point he pulls out a megaphone and begins speaking through which at this point were already thinking what on earth are you doing, during this entire scene he had 2 machetes raised to him which we said they were raised to his throat. as i was searching his stuff even tho jensons machete was raised to his head he still proceeded to get in jensons car and attempted to drive off, after leaving that area we went to a garage and decided to go else where.. we arrived at our last location and after cutting his zipties to allow his a drink.. he further took mick by drinking multiple smoothies, more than needed. after that even tho machetes were raised he proceeded to do the same stunt again.

I would like to clarify that  James Smith has no involvement in this report. This report solely concerns my actions as Levi Thomas, in which I falsely used James Smith's name for the purposes of roleplay.

You accuse me of not valuing my life, but I strongly disagree. In that situation, my top priority was to ensure my safety and well-being. I fully complied with all of your demands, even when you threatened to mutilate me and ordered me to undress. However, when an opportunity presented itself and your friend was distracted, I seized the chance to escape and save my own life.

When you caught up with me and held a machete to my neck, I resumed complying with your orders. Despite my cooperation, you still went ahead and amputated my finger. After that, you took me to another location, where you restrained and silenced me for an extended period. Nevertheless, you eventually allowed me to drink, and noticing that your friend was once again distracted and that you lacked zip ties, I took the chance to escape once again while you were distracted collecting money from the ground.

Even though you once again got into the car and attempted to hold a machete to my neck, I acted swiftly and jumped out of the car before you could harm me. I then made a desperate run for my life, but I was hit by a passing vehicle and surrendered yet you still decided to kill me.

Regarding the megaphone and smoothie, please understand that my character is somewhat eccentric, but I fully cooperated with your demands and immediately set them aside when instructed to do so.

Good morning.

after reading this it’s hard to believe as an admin you could actually find comfort in this story.. your role play should have been top tier.. we amputated your finger to reach a lesson as you refused to be silent, even saying “fuck you” at least me point, I don’t believe that anybody with a machete to there throat would be stupid enough or as you put it “eccentric” enough to be blatantly disrespectful to their hostage takers.. we told you from the offset you we’re not liable to be in much danger.. the finger amputations we’re your own fault.. i can understand what your trying to say about being distracted and fair enough, I should have learned to lock the car, but regardless of that fact, the clip shows a machete being raised to you when you Decided to get in that car.. I’d also like to point out your lack of injuries when jumping out of the car at a fair speed, we had such high hopes this RP scene and the actions you took genuinely left us feeling completely deflated and underwhelmed.. I have an officer character my self who has been kidnapped manny times, in those moments my character is scared and unable to process things to a certain degree.. he does not pull out a megaphone and repeatedly use it whilst being told explicitly to stop.. had you have complied correctly and not taken the time to troll us, in my opinion this could have been a very enjoyable scene for all involved.. can you explain to me why you felt the need to try and take control of the situation by essentially messing around?

First off thank you for taking the time to make a player report @Rio Stokes

Before I go into the report, I'll comment on what @moley2011posted in relation to a different player report. Whilst I get your intention is to "Prove" NVL in a sense this depends on context and both situations are vastly different. Yes in the report linked it was NVL, That has no baring on this report nor context that has been reported here. This will be disregarded.

I've watched both videos provided by @Ramsince it gives much more context that the initial video has, Given there was also an edit made making it more difficult to determine the context, However since we have two longer videos this shows the context overall.

From the outset you grabbed an Ram as a hostage at strawberry gas station and attempt to put him into the boot and this doesn't work. You can see an attempt at RP to the point yous didn't wish to RP until it was more suitable for yourselves as shown in the video when yous tell him "Not to talk". You get to a different location and both demand items are dropped and as you see Ram did comply with yous, I.e dropping the items and indeed using the megaphone and asking if you wanted this dropped also. Upon saying you did the item was indeed dropped on the floor. 

Now after this fact one of you we're more interested in picking up items from the floor and the other giving plenty of room (Even moving back so far as you aren't even in the video pov) and Ram saw a chance to try and get away and took it. 

Moving onto the next video, Indeed he did comply with yous even though there wasn't too much RP in this video. Same thing happens again as the first video, Yous let your guard down and again more interested in money from the box this time, Over securing the person or keeping such a threat. You can see in both instances that when challenged with a knife in the first he got out of the car and complied, Second time he was running after jumping out of the vehicle. 

One would argue that the reason for him running is one the prior threats and also loosing a finger. Did he drink a bit to much? Maybe, However yous did allow this when he stated he would many times, It was the final time where you said to get your hands up that he did. 

One comment made by @moley2011"your role play should have been top tier". Indeed as staff we are held to a higher standard, However with that being said as per the hostage taking rule, Both of you are also subject to providing high quality RP in the situation when it comes down to it. Asking people not to talk or stopping RP makes little to no sense. Another sentence made within the video "We're holding you with a knife to your throat", The context you said this made little sense since you we're standing in front of them asking their name, However it comes across trying to rule play over roleplay. (In the vehicle it indeed made sense).

Given the full context in this situation you did fail to keep the disadvantage up and more so let your guards down multiple times to allow the roleplay to expand more as a result. Not all situations are text book in that respect and we should always be keeping our guards up and a close eye on our surroundings as you did open the door for this to happen in RP. In this case I'd not say the rules we're broken and due to this the report will be denied.
