Went to buy a loadout from advanced, skipped the border hoping that if the Cartel I would be able to Roleplay with them, or attempt to bribe my way out of the situation. The whole time I am there I am trying to talk to them, but receive little back.

For an RP server, I fail to see how "Hands up or you'll be knocked out" (Which is basically the summary of their roleplay, Followed by "Stop or die" Is high quality RP at all.

It's my understanding that a whitelisted faction should be held to a higher standard of RP, not to mention a staff lead of the server, (Not that this matters, cos It is poor in my eyes no matter who the perpetrator is)


(Now for those who will undoubtedly say "Common sense", Please don't use this as an excuse to forget this is an RP server and shooting should be a last resort, Matt had plenty of other options, but chose to say stop or die and then gun me down.)

p.s This is the first ever report I have put up, because quite frankly the state of RP from whitelisted factions is severely lacking, and its quite frankly appaling now.

I'm dealing with this because the accused is a Staff Lead, and therefore there is no higher authority than Management.

You're in Cartel-held territory, being questioned for your border pass, and being a bit of a runaround troll, tbh. You place your weapon on the floor as instructed, whilst in the direct gaze of several heavily armed men who are warning you not to be silly. You snatch your gun back before they can pick it, and then you run like a rabbit.

What, exactly, did you expect would happen, after you were warned to stop being silly and cease running away?

Did you really believe that you'd get away over that fence and go tiptoeing through the tulips on your jolly way home picking daisies and laughing at the clouds?

Or did it not strike you that a murderous Mafiosi-style drug cartel family might actually be serious when they say stop or we'll shoot? These are not police. They are not bound by the same rules of engagement that the cops are tied to. They will kill you, if you cross them - ideally with a warning, such as this, but nonetheless, they're within their rights to do so, if you do not comply with their warnings, on their turf, in their house, under their gaze.

More to the point, if I had a penny for every time your gang treated innocent civilians with far less regard even than the Cartel showed you here, then I'd be a rich man.

It is time to learn to take what you yourself have dished out in the past. And hopefully, to see the difference in how it is done. You had plenty of warning. You basically killed yourself. Not a smart move.

And this better be the last stupid revenge report from OG, or there will be trouble. Sometimes you will not win. Sometimes you will not have the upper hand. Sometimes you will be the victim, on the back foot, the losing party. This is by design.
