I was holding a house in the middle of a gunfight. A stole police hunter decamped on my location and Malawaka decamped on me and teleported in every direction.

Kinda short report description. What did I do wrong? Did I broke any rules?

We both experience dysnc which will probably be the (teleporting??) we can all agree this is the server. If you slow down your video with -0,5x you see me pushing your building where you open the door and appeared behind me. You where lagging for me aswell so I went into the building to get the advantage to kill you. With the server being full lately this is happening sometimes and there is not much to do. If you watch the video with -0.5x do you still accuse me for (teleporting??) or do you agree this is dysnc?

Do have any recordings from this fight. I am very sure this is a case of dpi or lag switching considering I seem to be able to see you perfectly fine until I start shooting at you. Considering from the moment I left the door I have barely moved you seem to have managed to literally sprint around me and  From what I see you did at least 2 full rotations before going into the house. So unless the lag is very selective of when it hits, I would be convinced if I saw any footage from any other angle or your POV. There is no staircase and from when you decamped from the hunter there was nothing to cause that extra lag at all up until you were under heavy threat, I had the chance to fire 7 to 10 rounds before the lag. So either you are playing Arma on a potato computer, your internet is in Austraila or this is fishy as hell. Please convince me otherwise.

Unfortunately I have no recording, the program I used decreased my fps and took quite a lot of storage.

I have been playing this game for 3.5k hours and you are literally the first person who accused me for dpi or lag switching. Like I said when you open the door you appeared behind me which made me turning around while running is this a dpi? You are hip firing and moving your mouse quick to the left right even tho your reloading is this dpi? I don’t think I need to convince you this game is bad optimized and server lags with 130 players.

That situation had staircase involved which does not make any relevance to this situation, and also a smoke grenade in the path of the two guys who pushed my room. I barely moved the mouse when I was reloading and I feel like thats just picking at straws.  For the record I have 4.8k hours in Arma and I feel that this is fishy. I dont think we will agree with what happened. We both have our opinions and we don't agree, and thats why we have staff to make decision. The server is not perfect and people take advantage of this and I personally do not think it is fair. I shall not waste anymore of either of our time unless staff ask me to comment.

You are not the only one who feels that the sudden erratic movements are cause for serious concern @ACC Greenhalgh 8181.

As always when we receive reports of this nature we look at multiple different factors. Among those are past reports and with a completely clean record and no priors I am inclined to give @Malawaka the benefit of the doubt.

However, given that we now have a very solid piece of material we will be able monitor if this sort of behaviour happens again in a similar situation. DOI glitching and anything even remotely similar is not taken lightly and therefore it’s imperative that we are presented with each suspicious case.

Arma is interesting in many ways and I’m not confident enough, neither are my staff colleagues, developers or even management in this specific case. Therefore, we will make a note of this and monitor future reports of the same nature.

Malawaka, if you find yourself with a guilty conscience then consider this your lucky day, you may not be as lucky next time. For now, keep up the good work of staying clear of troubles as you have done so for many hours.
