Please (in detail) describe the incident

Peterson and I were doing a Uranium run in a Xi'an, in the background you can hear people talking over group for some reason but this did not effect anything I heard. Then Magnum Coast roll up, say "Step out of the vehicle" and someone else speaks over and says "If you try to fly off your engine will be shot". We fly around for around 5 minutes (We try to land at one town far away, they assume it's us and open fire.) We head up North where I crashed due to the disabled left rotor. This was around 4-5 Minutes after our first contact, and around 2 minutes after the first town we land in. I may be able to get a full video. The main problem I have here, is that the Magnum Coast group did not down me, or have any connection with how I was downed. My downing was due to a lack of ability to fly a Heavy VTOL without a left rotor. The Magnum Coast group have no remorse for executing mine and peterson's lives. To me Lill Jeep seems fed up with roleplay, as the second I finished speaking he had enough and executed me on the spot. "No sorry, but I have to do this", not even a tear to the eye. This was poor roleplay by a group of "Frag Kiddies". Their weak background story is that we broke their "if you dont comply religion" and their going to turn us into "sausage meat". The only thing you've turned into "sausage meat" is your good reputation @Jeep_addison.

Hello Willy,

Let me start of by saying I'm sorry your perception of Magnum coast is that we're as you said ''Frag Kiddies'' that ‘’have no remorse for executing mine and Peterson's lives’’, this is definitely not a reputation we promote, which is something I believe you already know since you were in fact asked to leave the Magnum coast for being too hostile and attacking our allies whilst being part of our gang. And the "if you don’t comply religion" you mentioned was purely part of that particular incident and does not in anyway reflect our gang and if you took offense to it I'm sorry.

Here is my side of what happened.

We were flying and patrolling when we came across uranium buyer where we saw a Xi'an this peaked our interest and we decided to land.  As soon as we touched the ground a man with a wetsuit came out from the bunker and got straight into the Xi'an, we asked them to not fly off and get out of the vehicle or we would take out their engines, they decided that it was not a good idea and flew off upon which we responded by fulfilling our promise and taking out one of your rotors.

We then followed the Xi'an with the smoking rotor for a good couple of minutes stopping once before you crashed at a village, the stay didn’t last for long since I assume that you saw and recognized our helicopter.

We keep following you until you crashed where we then execute you after having a nice little chat about hotdogs and your activities at the uranium buyer.

You say that we ‘’assumed’’ it was you but I can 100% guarantee that there was no other Xi'an on the island with the tail rotor smoking at that same time, this is just adding to the fact that we were watching and following you all the way from uranium buyer. I also mention this to you in your video.

I'm not familiar with your piloting skills but I would say that we definitely had some kind of play towards the reason why you crashed, that rotor would most likely have helped quite a bit I imagine.

Of Course everyone is allowed their own opinion on how you view the characters you encounter on the island but saying that I would be ‘fed up with roleplay’’ to me is quite the insult and I can tell you that this is very much not the case and I'm sure that quite a lot of people will tell you that and agree.

As to why you were executed, it was to make an example for the other man on the ground that we weren’t gonna have you bullshit us and we wanted answers. we gave you time to convince us otherwise which you failed to do by continuing the story of ‘’ were not the people you are looking for’’ I interpreted this as you continuing to undermine me and my friends which ended with a bullet in your head.

I would like to add that we did not want to kill you, unfortunately, you killed yourself and since we had invested a lot of time in chasing you and we felt that we wanted to gain something from it knowing that you probably had a lot of cash on you.

You did not try to resolve this with me instead you send me a link to the report and criticising my role play whilst also including a link which I will do you the favor of posting here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NENH8Y0JGx8

You then shortly after this message, during a A’n’D between our gangs you keep going on about how I need to give you the 1.6m back or I'm going to get banned, I don't have anything against you Willy and as I said I'm happy to compensate you for the gear you lost since I understood you where not happy with the role play but honestly, it was quite immature to the point where I decided that it was no point in responding.

Did i have to execute you? no, I did not, in the beginning, I didn't even want to but unfortunately, It’s just how the roleplay went.

I do have footage of my end if it should be required.

The video I linked you, as a joke, was to make a light of our situation. I didn't want to make it seem that I wanted you to be banned. The whole idea of the report a player system, is to make people stand back and think about other peoples sides.

This is where you twist my words, I said 1.6 mil and I would drop the report. First of all, I'm not bothered about the money, I didn't have the money on me. Anything I said during the A&D has been taken out of context. Both groups agreed that it would be a bit of fun, I may of took it a bit too far by bringing up the player report. And I do take responsibility for embarrassing you in front of the group. I find it a bit upsetting when roleplay goes out the window, the whole reason why we came to play with you was because you had made me upset by the standard the roleplay had been dropped to.

You could of made the roleplay better by torturing me rather than executing me. By executing me, you end roleplay with that person. I told you that there could be another way out of this, getting the medic to revive us, this would be to lengthen the roleplay.

A better way you could of put "don't comply religion" could possibly be: "Here at Magnum Coast, we don't like people who mess us around, people who send us on wild goose chases". I never took offense from any of your statements, however it should be that religion and real world politics should stay out of roleplay, as it may create arguments.

If you wanted to gain something from your "hard work", wouldn't making a more interesting roleplay experience be a reward? I know there was money involved, but this is why the majority of reports are made - because someone is out of pocket. This is not the case in this situation, even though my unfunny comments may show otherwise.

In this case, I wanted to make a log of the events of today. So that the Staff Team can keep this as a lesson learnt.

Now, @Jeep_addison, I know that you have such a talent for roleplaying; we wouldn't want that to go to waste. I would like you to answer some questions, so that we can resolve this issue. And don't think I am asking these questions becuase you made points against me, I did it on my last report a player.

If you could redo the situation, what would you improve?

Will you make your executions a bit more remorseful in the future?

To me, the report system is here as a last resort when it is apparent that the player in question is not here to improve the community and is best removed in order to make it so, a ban is certainly not something to joke about.

If you wanted to teach me a lesson or to stand back and think about how I decide to roleplay you could have asked me to come to Team speak where you could have presented how displeased you were with the whole situation and I would have told you why it ended the way it did.

The whole religion comment was made by one of the people in my company more as a joke than anything and I do believe that topics such as religion and politics should most definitely be part of roleplay. Take the communist leader or the Mayor for example, both are part of fantastic roleplay and inviting arguments.
This is an adult community after all and subjects like this we should be able to handle since they provoke arguments which also are, to me, one of the foundations of roleplay itself.

Yes, we did want to gain something for our time spend chasing you, such was the choice of our RP characters at the time.

As far as improving the situation there are as always multiple ways this could have gone, one way is you deciding not to fly off when we asked or even us taking out the engines not allowing you to leave the uranium buyer to continue the situation from there. If we had a stretcher at hand we could have brought you to a factory to make sure you were properly ground down and neatly packaged before we sold you as premium, top shelf hotdogs, Building our empire as the most favored hotdog provider in Altis, this, of course, could have been explained to you as a way of gaining your approval before you were sent on your way, after all, stressed meat just doesn't taste as good.

When you get into a situation I think it is important to note that you yourself are just as much part of the quality of the situation taking place as anyone else taking part of it, I'll admit I have not had a lot of experience executing people since most of the time im the one on the ground begging for mercy but as far as if I will be more ''remorseful'' in the future, its likely, that's usually the way I RP but its entirely dependent on the situation.

So,

Let's kick this off, shall we?

The first Question is in regards to why @A Willy and @Peterson decided to continue to you out of game communication whilst down?
As I am sure you are both aware that doing this is breaking server rules?

Hello @Alfred,

My enterpretation of the rules:

(3.5) You must hot-mic all communications that have been made over teamspeak when they are relevant to influencing the course of roleplay. This means that if you are communicating to fellow team members via Teamspeak and you are in audio proximity range of another player (they can hear you), you must hot mic any commands given so the rival player can overhear. This rule does not apply if both sides are engaged in a gunfight together.

(5.4) When you are revived/downed:

You may not actively enter or continue any combat situation for the next 15 minutes.

Your character retains all knowledge of the time before they are downed.

While you are downed you may not divulge tactical information to anyone. The exception to this is information spoken in direct chat in game. Please be mindful that you are heavily injured and should act accordingly.

From what I said, it was not tactical information in anyway. As we were not in an active gunfight situation, and we had already requested for medical attention. I asked who is this in the helicopter, as I thought it may of been one of us as I seen the Hexagons (that looked close). I cannot speak on behalf of @Peterson. We will be meeting with our gang to ensure that we are all briefed with the rules, we will encourage people asking questions to other gang members or the Staff Team about the rules if they have any problems.

I was aware that by communicating with friends when we was roleplaying was a server rule break. However I did not realise that using your "radio" was a rule break when nobody was around you and you aren't in a gunfight - this is because the radio is only 3 inches away from where your hands are when you are downed. But if this isn't the case, then I will ensure me and the gang do not break this rule in future.

I am happy to consider this as a good answer, and we can consider the report resolved if there is no more questions by the Staff Team or @Jeep_addison. One thing to note jeep is to look at it from the other persons perspective. By you cutting off their roleplay it could damage their experience here; I went off of the RoleplayUK servers for the night. You should balance out the roleplay between as many people as possible rather than just focusing on one person. A strong reason why, is because it gives everyone an experience to remember.

Best wishes,

Willy
