Please (in detail) describe the incident: I was outside MRPD speaking to two friends when a mass crowd was gathering outside MRPD. The usual loiterers who have no reason to be there but do so because they have nothing better to do. A few of them decide to steal my police car whilst I'm dealing with someone who is in handcuffs with no visible Arresting Officer(s). They make off, I think nothing of it, it's not uncommon for trollers to steal police cars for the fun of it. I put it on the watchlist and continue talking. I see the police car come back around to MRPD and park in a space before initiating a countdown and a big group pile out of the car and tell me to put my hands up. I laugh OOC and comply, they never gave me a reason throughout the whole 'scenario' apart from: ''You stole Clive's turtle''. I didn't know what they were on about and told them this IC but they proceeded to do whatever they wanted to do. They robbed me, stuck a blindfold on me, drove me to a cliff I assume and told me to ''play a little game'' and walk. I wasn't sure what they meant so I walked in circles and was killed and dumped on some cliff edge.

The whole situation wasn't well executed whatsoever. They had no initial reason for kidnapping me, no real need to do so other than to mess about and take my things. There was around 10 people involved and I was constantly being given mixed commands, it wasn't well executed and frankly boring to have to be involved in.

I know she will see this report so I'll ask her: Is there a genuine reason you decided to kidnap me, I've never interacted with you before as this character..

Due to me being blindfolded almost 90% of the entire situation I never got the ID's of those involved properly, but it is evident that katelyn was at the helm of it

Hello and thanks to the staff member reviewing this report here is my side of the events.

To start off with ill quote his comment: “Due to me being blindfolded almost 90% of the entire situation I never got the ID's of those involved properly, but it is evident that Katelyn was at the helm of it” = Firstly you were blindfolded for around 50% of the incident definitely not 90% of the incident and in fact I was not at the helm of the kidnapping it was a joint effort between a whole group of people. You were taken to a house where you were un blindfolded and they tried to interact with you, doing things like picking things off shelfs. You were offered food drink etc, but you really weren’t interested and made no effort at all in this RP including trying to spare your life. As per the report you were speaking with your friends prior and seems like we were just an inconvenience, and you hated the fact we took you away from your friends.

Regarding the comment “whilst I'm dealing with someone who is in handcuffs with no visible Arresting Officer(s). = When we came back to kidnap him there was no one in cuffs and he was chatting with his two friends in fox masks.

To quote the officers other remark “before initiating a countdown and a big group pile out of the car and tell me to put my hands up” = We state ready, steady go, this is so we are all out the car at the same time to avoid the officer pushing his panic or tasing one when the others were still in the car.   

Regarding this comment “it's not uncommon for trollers to steal police cars” = We roleplay we do not troll we love this community and try our best to create great RP situations following all rules. It is a roleplaying server and stuff like this does happen. We followed all rules to try give you some good RP, and we gave you 30-40 mins of it also. 

There was also no attempt to resolve this in RP using OOC or asking us to Discord Liaison it was straight to forums so if the officer would’ve asked us to OOC or Discord we would have happily jump in there.

I appreciate a lot of people don’t like being kidnapped in the city, but it is roleplay. (I have been kidnapped more times than I can remember but enjoy the stories behind it) We try our best to come up with great RP situations and act them out in the city but appreciate each kidnapping may not be for everyone. We would like to apologise in advance for you not enjoying the RP as we genuinely try to make the RP enjoyable for everyone involved.

The reporter said himself that he found the situation “boring”, and we are again sorry that this scenario wasn’t for his liking, but we can’t guarantee everything the group did would suit him, but the fact he found it boring was no excuse not to attempt to save his characters life.

For 3 people involved in this kidnapping this was their first ever kidnapping and they tried their best.

Responding to the question: “I know she will see this report, so I'll ask her: Is there a genuine reason you decided to kidnap me, I've never interacted with you before as this character.” = We have interacted two times before in Sandy shores PD where you proceeded to call me stupid on one occasion and told me to "shut up" and talk down to me stating "i can talk to PC Chrissie Browns cousin in any way i want"  this was all done in front of my Boyfriend in the city, “who was also part of the kidnapping” So in RP we have previously met and interacted with each other.

Responding to the G7.1 Hostages. Rule break accusation

We tried to make this as enjoyable as possible for the officer involved by speaking with him, but he refused to talk or gave one-word replies. He wasn’t roleplaying the situation well at all and his RP in this situation was frankly bad. Throughout the RP me and the other kidnappers explained on numerous occasions why he was being kidnapped so his reasoning stating he didn’t know why he was being kidnapped is not true. As for accusing me of being the main kidnapper all people taking part in the kidnapping where all equally involved and no one was the leader. We all chipped in to try make it a fun RP situation for everyone. He again recognises my voice and has assumed I’m the leader but, in the clip, you can hear multiple others being involved to. Again, this is trying to make the Kidnapping RP situation enjoyable for all. There were never any mixed commands, however there was multiple people giving him commands to follow and he ignored hence in the clip of the “game” you can hear one try explaining the rules of the game after the others tried to explain it but he failed to comply.

Responding to the (G7.3) Execution, rule break accusation.

We took the officer to a cliff which is true, and he was zip tied and blindfolded which is also true, in the car he stated he knew who I was and stated my name, at this point we knew we couldn’t let him go and had to “kill” him we tried speaking with him explaining he had to walk but could choose his own direction (which we believed would bring adrenaline to the RP and be fun for all involved) “like a walk the plank type scene” When we gave him certain instructions like walk, he stated he was frozen and couldn’t move which I feel breaks G2.3, as that’s what OOC chat is for and if he had an issue, it could have been easily communicated out of character there. There was so much more to this kidnapping including bringing him to a house (where I left the city and the other kidnappers were dealing with him, I had to restart gta due to textures) so left him with the other kidnappers who were equally involved and when I loaded back into the city, they were taking his belongings. We tried so hard to make this an enjoyable RP for the officer but as he stated in his report, he found the whole RP boring. Whilst I appreciate it may not be the world’s best kidnapping/killing RP it was all done with reason. (He identified one of the kidnappers= reason not to allow him to live) The theme of his killing was like the walk the plank, he was blindfolded, and zip tied as if he wasn’t he would try avoiding his death and defeats the purpose, All the kidnappers made him walk to his own death and he fell off the cliff. We left his body at the bottom of the cliff after removing the blindfold once again as by this point the RP was around 30-40mins, so we didn’t dump his body anywhere. 

(Kidnapping had multiple different reasons which sadly I don’t have evidence to but in RP was because of the following= Officer was told by the other kidnappers he was being kidnapped for PD as a whole stealing Clive’s (Fashion Police) turtle “which in RP helps Clive mentally and is like a support pet. (At this point it was going to be a kidnapping mugging) Later when he identified one of the kidnappers his fate was sealed, and we couldn’t let him live with that information) which is what led to us trying to create a fun enjoyable experience in RP instead of simply shooting and killing him (which would be no fun for him and us). so personally, I believe we did make this RP as fun and as enjoyable as possible. (Even Clive from fashion police got involved to try make it fun for the officer, but the officer was just not having it at all) We truly tried our best to make it enjoyable for the officer.

As for this officers’ comments regarding me being a loiterer around PD that is not the case and has never been the case, I barely come to PD other than paying fines and spend most of my time chilling fishing on the beach with friends. I feel this officer took a dislike to my other character in the past PC Chrissie Brown when she was a police officer in the city and clearly knows who Katelyn west is as in the city “she is a social media influencer” So I do believe he may recognise my voice. But I assure I never loiterer around emergency building as that would be breaking rule G6. Only times I am ever at PD is with valid roleplay reasons to be there “paying tickets, or roleplaying”.

I also don't like the fact how the evidence is cut to make it seem as if it was just a kill and dump, and made to look like he was blindfolded the entire time, which is absolutely not the case.

Finally, to the Staff and Devs who will review this just want to say a huge thanks for your time, dedication and focus you put into this fantastic community!

I appreciate the long reply and I'm not going to nit pick every part of it.

The reason I wasn't entertained by the nature of the taking was simply due to the fact that I had no fucking clue what on earth you were referring to when accusing me of taking clives turtle. 

In regards to the claims of attempts to make it enjoyable by taking me to that room and making me pick things out, I'll agree, I saw what you were attempting and appreciated it but in the end you never really did much with said tools and just took me to the mountain.

I also appreciate the fact you do mention that you apologize that it wasn't enjoyable. In future, maybe have a reason more tailored towards a certain Officer with some sort of backstory - similar to how Ollie BUX and his crew have an ongoing thing of taking Julie Johnson hostage - and aim to have some sort of end goal with said Officer.  

Apart from that, thanks for the reply and you can now close this report as her reply is sufficient enough for me to know she wasn't just doing it for fun.

But again we apologise you didnt like the RP, we followed the rules but do appreicate the scenario isnt for everyone. 

I am glad we have managed to resolve this and yes we do apologise it wasent to your liking
