I decided to rob some people at gunpoint at the salt mines, I told both members of their group to freeze, dont move and put your hands in the air twice, both of which had an mk20 aimed at them, one member of the group, under the Alias of "LaB", just proceeds to run away and the other, under the Alias of "Jordan" draws his weapon and fires at me, luckily I reacted quickly enough to shoot him to to prevent myself from being obliterated. All of this was recorded, unfortunately the I did not capture the user named "LaB" repeatedly using my game in game even though I was wearing a shemag. This is due to him knowing my voice from talking before. This is also a terrible example of RP but as I did not record the evidence I wont bother continuing this point. He has refused to pay me back for my gear as that is all I am asking for as compensation, I believe this is reasonable seeing as both of them are going to walk away from this with two trucks full of salt and I am 300K down due to poor RP. I understand that my RP could be looked down apon but I have seen multiple occasions where people will get screwed over by some noobs who don't hear instructions correctly and gun you down on site. If the rp had continued I had a ziptie spare on me and intended to hold one of them hostage and make his team pay a ransom for his safe return. Unfortunately that did not go to plan and that is why I am here :/.

*It was the salt processor, not the salt mine.

After a long and arduous dispute in a private Discord channel between Tomas and LaB and I, about a completely unrelated topic from a different game.My friend LaB and I decided to join the server to do some salt runs as Tomas, LaB and I had all pitched in to buy a house very recently while we were together in a gang. While leaving the Discord LaB and I disclosed information regarding the salt plans, which is why Tomas turned up there.

LaB and I were processing the salt when a masked man appeared behind me and shouted words to the effect of 'hands up or I shoot'. As I had little to no money after border passes and other fees, my only option was to shoot. i was very lucky to land an incapacitating shot on Tomas, despite his body armor, but he also hit me. There was no option for RP after Tomas intiated on me so quickly with no other communication. We had seen Tomas before at the salt mine, but escaped (without us realizing who it was), he waited for us at the processor. Making it evident he was there to rob only us. 

In a private steam message he asked me for compensation, as "I have to tick the box". I didn't believe I was in the wrong so refused to give compensation. I believe the RP was bad on purpose as he wanted me to break a rule, and take it to report as I have only recently been unbanned after roughly 8 months. He didn't want me to pay compensation either, as he knew I was unable to. Nor do I believe that the incident needed to be settled as a report as we have plenty of communications between us. I have no recordings.

I wish to dispute that claim as I previously had no intention of going to the salt mines and I had left the discord before even hearing of the information as I wished to go solo. I went to pick up an mk20 from the blackmarket, whilst heading there I saw 2 large trucks parked outside the salt mine so, looking at the amount of fuel I had in my tank, and knowing the money I was intending to spend on gear I decided that I would head to the salt processor after "gearing up" as it were.

I also wish to dispute the claim that I said: "Hands up or I shoot!", in the video at exactly 1:22 when the conflict begins I said, freeze, dont move and put your hands in the air " twice.

And finally with regards to the steam messages, I asked for compensation as it is required that we attempt to settle it by ourselves, as that was the only thing I was willing to settle for as I saw his actions as unjust. I do not wish for him to be banned, I requested compensation and I am willing to drop the matter, I just believe it was low quality RP and I wished to make a report about it. I asked him if he could pay for it, he said: "No, soz." so I decided to create a report against him.

Overall I just wish to be compensated for my loss due to the fact that I felt the RP was not up to significant standards. I did not actively seek either members of their squad out, neither did I have any prior idea of where they would be other than the fact that their group name is, correct me if i'm wrong, "The Salty Kings". 

Edit: He has partially corrected himself by adding the words "words to the effect" to the previous "of 'hands up or I shoot'."

ill let @EasyMcSqueezy respond to you but would like to say that on easy's side, it was not the best value of rp, going to get a gun out wile a rifle was aimed at you, must have had a real death wish. ill leave you guys to finish you side if you wan then ill see what to do

 
I can see where you're coming from, but I didn't have a death wish; the point was I didn't have much at all. I believed my only option was to kill Tom as he had a very deep grudge against me, and scrapping my only valuable asset would be a dream come true for him. I am now able to comp him if you feel it necessary, but I would rather not as I spoke with him in person today and I can honestly quote him saying: "I don't really care, I don't really play on the server anyway... I'm just doing it for the bants". He  If anything I feel like I should file a report against him for metagaming but if you feel that I should comp him, now that I'm able, I will.

Not sure if these screenshots of our convo show what type of character he is.

First I'd like to say the first accusation of me saying: "I don't really care, I don't really play on the server anyway... I'm just doing it for the bants". Is, excuse my French but, Utter bullshit. I showed him Roleplay.co.uk in the first instance and own the rebel license which isn't something you get from "not really playing on the server" (Granted it's not the most expensive license). I also do find it hilarious that you would even attempt to bring real life conversations into this when you have no evidence of any of it.

As with the screenshots, my "character" so to speak, is very ironic and sarcastic, enhanced by the fact that I just had 300K wasted by someone who doesn't know how to RP. I let him know that he was stupid for not recording his gameplay as shown by the "Do you have any recordings or screenshots"... "Well that was silly now wasn't it". In all honesty I think it really highlights what type of character he is in the fact that he will go so far as to try to lie about real life events and try and fathom a defense through a few satirical comments made to him in private messages, which are none the less the least incriminating evidence of this entire report.

The fact that I alerted you to the report as soon as it was made clearly means I want you to have your side of the story because I want this to be disputed fairly, but when you make accusations with and claim you "should  file a report against him for metagaming" When you have ZERO evidence of any of this, in my opinion makes you look quite pathetic. In addition, if we are making accusations from real life events, didn't you say to me that when "LaB" started tbagging me and saying, "you're dead Sky" you were "facepalming so hard telling him to shut up". I was completely masked and he had no way to tell it was me, so that was metagaming correct? That was a real life event that should have your friend penalised should it not?

And as a final note, I reckon the event would have turned out differently if you hadn't recognised my voice, I feel you had the intention to shoot me even if I hadn't engaged on you first as you are generally very unwelcoming to my presence, this is even represented by the fact you have me nicknamed as *Saltmeister* as an attempted dig at me. You constantly claim you (and yes this is without evidence but " I can honestly quote him saying") enjoy the roleplay. So why would you open fire on someone who has an automatic rifle drawn first, aimed directly at you, masked, in full guerrilla gear and asking you to comply with their actions. Surely if you enjoyed roleplay "So much" you would have happily complied. Just seems all a little strange to me.

1) You can just check both of our play time and see that he hadsnt played in over 8 months, and that he only joins when I do.

2) The fact we can have real life conversations shows you didnt need to create a report

3)You can deny saying it, I have no evidence, but I believe it is already shown through your actions.

4) You alerted of the report not because you wanted the dispute settled, but because you found it hilarious.

5)Correct I have zero evidence of metagaming, thats why I didn't file a report? You were there to hear all the info about thr salt runs though.

6)The report is against me, not LaB, and I didn't leave character, in your full video after the incident I RPed with the UNMC while they investigated and executed you.

7) The fact you would pick up on *saltmeister* is hilarious because you have known (and been fine with) I have you named that for months. Please dont pretend that its a personal attack based on the event.

8) You're going around in circles here. I've already explained why I shot. I had zero reason to believe you would do nothing short of take everything and scrap my truck.

I would appreciate if an admin would let me know if I need to comp his because at this point it is just going back and forth. Thanks.

 
1) There is little point in playing on your own on Altis RP if you don't have a team with you, I joined back when he was unbanned as we had previously agreed to play together.

2) The fact that you refused to compensate me for what I felt and still feel is poor RP is the reason I decided to make the report

3) What actions do you believe I am showing? You are the one who has created false truths with zero evidence to back yourself up with.

4) I alerted you of the report because I wanted to dispute to be settled. Why would I find losing money because of somebody not knowing how to RP correctly hilarious

5) As I have stated before. I was not there to hear because you became increasingly toxic after suggesting I should leave and you kicked me from your discord.

6) The report is against you, but your acquaintance is also in the wrong, which I believe was worth pointing out because he was the one who was with you at the time and was also breaking RP

7) I was not previously aware of this

8) I'm going around in circles to respond to your statements. Just because you explain why you shot doesn't mean you weren't in the wrong.

9.) Your responses are made with no facts or proof to back them up with, next time if you choose to respond, use the information that you can actually prove instead of trying to make up whatever comes to mind.

I agree this is going back and forth, so it would be good to have an admin respond, thanks!
