So, me and my unit responded to the AR weapons cache being robbed. Upon arrival we were met at the front door by Jebediah seemingly wanting to negotiate. His demands were the following (not his wording exactly): 1. "Police leave lettign them continue, they get all the bags" or 2. "Police stay, posiedon shoot us, and they then get all the bags" This is the condensed and paraphrased version of his demands.

We tried to negotiate saying three bags, but this was quickly shot down. Jebediah then quickly wanted a response whilst me and Will were trying to talk over the radio to higher ups, to see what they were willing to do (and of course, stall a bit to give backup more time to arrive). Jebediah was having none of this and wanted a quick response.

It is the following that I have a problem with, when no response came quickly enough he said negotiations were over. He then said that we should leave the area or we will be shot, Will tried to tell him they had 1 minute to leave or we will be storming the building. After this our plan was to drive off but I was instead swiftly shot. Notice that Will was unarmed and I had my gun holstered on my back, at this time we had no intentions to shoot.

To me, the requirement for high quality roleplay was not met at all. What we were told was basically to either leave and let poseidon take all the bags or stick around and get shot, and let them have all the bags. To me that's not seemingly high quality, neither when it comes to negotiations nor roleplay. To me it seems like Jebediah wanted the bags without having to roleplay too much to get them, intead opting for a gun fight if he didn't get his way. If he had tried to negotiate with us properly, bargaining back and forth, we would've happily done it, instead he didn't get his way and decided that was that, no more roleplay.

We talked to him in liaison but he didn't agree with us.

Hello!

We came in with the intentions to get all the bags no matter what. It was partially because of the attack on our checkpoint and partially because the raid of our enforcer area yesterday.

I was not going to settle for anything less, which I didn’t. I asked early on in the negotiations what you were offering to which I recieved the counter offer of 3 bags, which to me was ridiculous.

It was obvious to all of us that you were setting up, if you were truly intent on happily giving us all the (which clearly you werent as heard in your comms, dont know why you claim you would) you wouldnt need people set up in the area.

The negotiations was called off when it was clear you were setting up to fight us. You then told us police would storm the area if we didn’t leave. We had no intentions to leave and therefore it was kill or be killed and the gunfight broke out.

All in all you were goven multiple chances to leave without a gunfight. I made pur demands very clear and you obviously did not want to meet them, instead trying to stall us so you would have an advantage in the situation.

I never said we would happily give you all the bags, but we would've happily roleplayed with you and nogitated properly with you, and had you actually tried to bargain with us instead of just wanting the gun fight as soon as we said no then you might've walked out, scot free, with a couple of bags, 3 was our first offer, had you continued you could've easily bumped it up to 4 or maybe even 5.

Also, of course we had backup arrive? There were multiple heavily armed people in the vicinity, but had you continued to roleplay we would've let you, the backup is there for our safety, not because we're gonna initiate the second we have more than a couple of officers around.

In the end your actions in game as well as your response here shows that you had no intentions of roleplaying with us unless we simply let you have your way.

I will not responds further unless asked by staff.

Just because I’m not interested in your counter offer doesn’t mean that I don’t want to roleplay. It was all done in roleplay (be it hostile roleplay). 

I dont have to settle for less bags just because YOU don’t want a fight, if you truly didn’t want a fight you were given the option to leave. 

This report sounds to me like you are mad because you weren’t the ones coming out on top. Just because I were on top of the negotiations instead of police doesn’t mean it was fail RP. 

You’re reporting me for fail RP but all YOU say in the roleplay scenario is ”can you calm down”.

I felt as if you guys were not serious about letting us get all the bags with snarky replies such as ”did you have a rough morning?” so I decided the only option for us to get all the bags was to call negotiations off and let you leave. Instead you decided to tell us officers will storm the area, putting our lifes in danger so I decided to take action.
