We were doing a quick RBA before the restart and me and Khalifa were holding the ATC at the airport. Then at the end of the fight one cop pushes our ATC and by the looks of it while running up he pulls out his plug from his router so he can run behind Khalifa without us seeing him, he then kills khalifa and as i was watching the door he runs up and kills me too.

This is not the first time this has happened to us where a cop pulls out his plug for his router a couple of seconds so they can push the stairs without us being able to do anything. And for some strange reason the only ones i have ever seen on the server do this kind of teleporting are cops. And i feel like the only reason they are getting away with it is because of their whitelist.

This kind of cheat (lagswitching) is really unfair to play against and completely ruins the legitimacy of the gunfights on the server. It doesnt mather if you are in a really good tower where there is only one stair to come up from because they can just pull their plug to their router and teleport behind you can kill you.

I would also like to add that the server was completely stable at the time so him teleporting behind Khalifa has nothing to do with server lag or server desync.

From what i have heard this is not an issue only Ascension are experiencing, this has happened to a lot of other groups who have been in gunfight with police lately. So hopefully this report will give a platform from where everyone who has been expierncing this can speak up and show their evidence.

If it makes any difference i can probably link some more clips of police lagswitching if that makes any difference or if it is neccesary.

Also if possible i'd a staff member who is NOT a part of the police responding to this report.

Okay, I had a chat with you guys about the video's you sent me of others possibly lag switching.

In this chat, I was passed the same video on however from the perspective of "Khalifa" in which you can see no problem with the server stability, which did in fact make this look like a lag switch.

However, from what I've gathered from your video, you can clearly see dysnc from two people. Look at the start of the video you can even see Khalifa clipping though the walls due to it, a member in your radio also noticed it by saying "dysnc Khalifa's" right at the start of the video.

You are correct on the part of the dsync from both of them at the beginning of the video. However, if you watch from that POV (Annatar's) you can see that Khalifa's hex at the point of the push is moving exactly as it is on Khalifa's POV also. This from my opinion should rule out possibility of desync at the time of the push.

Firstly, i would like to say that this shouldn't be a player report as it could of been a simple chat in liaison,In which you were already in I think and said to the police officer and gang member there "He`s getting reported for lag switching" which I don't really appreciate as you should have tried sorting it out before a player report, were I would show you the video. I would also like to point out after the situation he messaged with a link the video and have a mess about or joke.

I'm unable to directly quote you and when I do the basic one its legs the typing up making it almost impossible to type.

You seem pretty adamant that all cops lag switch which I find hard to believe as I said above you should have come to talk to me before this report was posted. Cops aren't getting away with it there not lag switching. Whitelisted or not admin treat members of the community the same and you should know that, any admins found doing that would be dealt with.

This kind of cheat (lagswitching) is really unfair to play against and completely ruins the legitimacy of the gunfights on the server. It's totally understandable people that lag switch has an unfair advantage and shouldn't be allowed to continue in this community, however, i was not lag switching I don't really see the point in lag switching as it takes to much time and effort for a kill. Massive waste of time.

If you rewatch the video for the first few seconds il jolting and drew even said your friend was desyncing with another friend saying he was. The server hasn't been stable as there`s been multiple kicks throughout the date.

If it makes any difference i can probably link some more clips of police lagswitching if that makes any difference or if it is neccesary.

If you watch the first couple seconds of the video you can see in jolting around showing the server not being stable at the time.

All in all, this could have simply explained on ts, if you would have asked to talk which I would be happy to. Also, I'm still happy to talk.

Thanks for your reply, the reason we took this straight to a report was due to the fact we have within 24 hours had 4 separate incidents exactly like this one (I am more than happy to send to you for understanding) of this happening to all of them of which where holding a hard angle to push. From Khalifa's eyes I am sure you can find it understandable to understand why it looks like you pulled your plug.

On the note of it being hard to lag switch it in fact is not as we have been informed that there is currently a piece of software which is/has been used which is as simple as clicking a button on a keyboard and will do make the lag occur in order to push.
