You are foolish enough to leave the vehicle opened and he took a chance, how can you blame him? The typed threats to report are not okay at all. Saying you have a gun to someones head inside a car is considered powergaming by previous rulings.
Threats to report / disputes / Breaking RP in Voice. There are so many people on the server with all different points of view and disputes and disagreements are all part of the game, however please do not discuss them in-game also do not break RP in voice. For example if someone has RDM’ed you discussing this on the server or saying “I am going to report you” is not allowed. Please use the forums or teamspeak to report or discuss only (Punishment is a ban) Exception: You may contact someone using the text system if they are not on teamspeak or on the forums. Please only attempt to make this contact in effort to resolve the issue, not to antagonise the other player/users/members.
At 3 minutes in you hear one of you call the player being reported a ''fucking cunt''. Insulting people out of character is something that is not allowed, so watch your words.
Video does not show the player being reported actually disconnect. Driving into the water in a armored car, bound to have quite some air inside it to breath + the fact that Arma Physics wouldn't tell you when you are drowning, just instantly kills you, makes it a viable escape, unless the situation is so dire escape is impossible. If he had drowned it into 100m deep water of a cliff, I'd say he's not really valuing his life. In the current situation, him staying in actually saved his life for quite a bit. In his own video you can see he gets out and tries to swim off. Again, since ArmA physics don't indicate you are drowning, there is no way he could have known this escape route would cost him his life, thus this can not be considered fail RP.
Therefore:
Report for Fail RP: Rejected.
Any claims of him combatlogging: Rejected.
To the players reporting:
Consider this your only official warning. Threathening to report like you did carries a ban as punishment. If you felt his RP was lacking, you could and should have just asked him to come to teamspeak to resolve this. Instead, you ran straight to the forums claiming
You tried to resolve the situation with the player(s) before reporting
Yes
While the only teamspeak conversation you had with him was just now AFTER the report had been filed. Wrong way around. Taking this situation to teamspeak with possible support members present would have prevented a needless report.
At no point did you try to ROLEPLAY with him after he got in the car, all you did was franticly type about his ''fai RP'', in turn not giving him any roleplay, which is fail RP in itself..
Calling people cunts in your own recording is not exactly something I'd advise to do either.
