What best describes this incident: Combat logging and Metagaming
Please (in detail) describe the incident: Frank first approached me at pillbox and called me out for being there calling me a gimp. I then chased him down the road whilst chatting to him along the way, he then said “bro if you want smoked I'll get off now”, so I decided to kick him off but didn’t pull out anything after. I didn’t expect him to pull knuckle dusters so I took a wee while to react. Anyway after killing me, he ran away from the police and suddenly stopped and then disappears. During this, he also had no interaction with the radio to call out where he was at any time due to him having a conversation with me. To which I'm guessing is an NSC car pulls up and waits to where Frank disappears whilst he is not there. When I look back around Frank has suddenly reappeared and got away in his friend's car, fully getting away from the police chase situation unfairly. Because of this action, I’m reporting them for suspicion of Metagaming and Combat Logging.

hello.
my whole game crashed bud hence I logged straight back in I can't help where the game crashes the staff can also see if I just combat logged,
as for the metagaming I was using my radio before the kick off with you at pillbox bud I told them all you was there and told them to come and grab you obviously due to the bad timing on the crash my bike was left on the ground mate you could of just asked that in ooc aswell.

I was in this situation i was over the other side of the road.

He did call out on radio before he went to pillbox, he went on to radio saying that he was going to look around pillbox to see if any chippies was there, we didn't hear anything on radio for a few minutes so i drove past pillbox and was in the grey GB400 which you can see on the other side of the road. i see Frankie's bike on the floor and i say on radio to the other lads. this is when they all turn up and Frankie had a head pop which he came back and the police saw he came back also so he didn't combat log.
None of this is metagame at all.

Fair enough on your game crashing, but it’s so clear that the car that picked you up knew exactly where it was going it stopped directly across from where you logged and I have 100% confidence that this was organised OOC and so will leave this to a staff decision.

TBF my gang just surrounded my bike mate so they just tried to rough guess where I would be also my mrs was literally over the road watching everything saynig where my bike was,
the fact you didn't ask to liase to see what happend shows you reporting out of spite more then anything as your gang just keeps rule breaking

No one’s lying.
If we had it clipped we would have put our POV in, I will ask any of the other lads if they have it clipped and get back to you.

He did radio to us BEFORE he got to pillbox and seen you, he told us on radio he was going looking for use and checking pillbox.
After this we didn’t hear from him on radio so I went and looked by pillbox and was on the other side of the road as seen in your clip, (GB400 grey) .i seen Frankie’s bike and I radioed to the guys that his bike was on the floor and police was arriving I said I didn’t know where Frankie was or if the police got him.

Obviously it’s your choice to think whatever you want and you’re free to do so.

The thing is mate I’m hoping staff can get the time stamp of it and have a look because I’ve clipped just as I headpop so it’s only clipped when I’m flying back in unfortunately but I radio that your at pillbox and for people to come to pill before me even fighting you bud, and it’s not a lie man your gangs been reported including yourself for rule breaks so seeing as you don’t ask me to come QE and ask what happened at all

I attended the situation after getting a call over radio. I saw the police so I slowly drove past after realising Franks bike was on the ground to see if I could see Frank within the people there but I wasn't going to get out and start speaking to people with so many police on scene because I shot a Chippione infront of police about 20 minutes prior and had already been searched 10 minutes before this situation took place in the exact same spot. I positioned my car to get away if one of the police were to tell me to get out of the car with guns drawn like they had done 10 minutes before this. Frank spawned in and we took off. I had no idea Frank headpopped.

Can also provide before and after if further clarification is needed from staff but if I'm in city, I deafen up.

Replying to the most recent clip sent as you can hear courtney has radioed and relayed the information about where frank is, she has said to go a bit further up towards AE even though she wasn't even on the scene prior to him headpopping, from my understand Frank and Courtney have there setups right beside each other in real life from hearing franks voice in courtneys mic and vice-versa, she seems to relay this information about him being just further up even though he has clearly passed the scene already which I find odd because as seen in that clip you can hear that the common senses were that frank and me going into a fight and even one of the NSC members said that I can get out of the car and scoop frank if needed, I'd like to see Courtney's perspective and Frank's Clip (Whatever u got clipped) The staff can check logs and see if it was a headpop or a F8 Quit so the combat logging can cleared pretty quick but I do indeed think with the help of courtney being literally right beside frank and watching his screen I think this was a metagaming scenario, This doesn't seem fair to me and very convenient to you which backs up the report for meta gaming and combat logging and I am not reporting out of spite as any "Beef" our gang and your gang has is only inside of the city, Don't try and make it personal and take it to forums with this pettiness, The reason I never tried to take this QE is because there is simply no reasoning with you so I made the decision to just let the staff decide and come up with there own opinion and they can decide what will happen.

1. You can literally hear courtney say in the most recent clip for the guy driving the car to move slightly up.

2. So he is conviently placed for him to instantly run into the car and get away.

I said on the radio, by pillbox just BEFORE AE, as i didn't know the road name. you obviously haven't listened to it correctly. Plus you don't hear Frankie in the clip on my mic at all, to me it just seems you're clutching at straws. but we will let staff decide.

I don't have any clip as i didn't clip it. Which i have said which you obviously haven't read again.

Also if @Paramountxz might possibly have it clipped where i say on radio im going to pillbox to see if Frankie's there as he hasn't been on radio etc then i see his bike. On your clip you can literally see me turn up on the other side of the road and i radio it through.

mate you have never QE with me at all to say there is no reasoning with me, I have liaised with your gang before and just got mocked when I was simply pointing something out to you lot and just got laughed at the entire time but its ok for you to sit there and say no reasoning with me when you haven't spoken to me at all.

also in the clip one of my members is asking where the situation is its not even the guy asking that who's driving the car mate

sorry but I haven't took anything OOC when its come from in city "beef" where I have your members messaging me OOC with some ridiculous comments.

and I'm not going to lie my headphones pic up a lot of shit in my background mate but I'm done with this back and forth as quite clearly you don't want it to go any other way so leave it to staff IMO then.

Good afternoon all,

I've reviewed all the footage and replies.

Thank you, @Paramountxz, for supplying additional footage. The initial one didn't show much after the situation between the reported player and the reporter.

The alleged rule breaks are C2.3 & G3.1, Combat Logging and Metagaming.

C2.3, I've checked the disconnect log, and it was a game crash. It is common for players to crash around Pillbox and Legion Square; I can't count how many times it's happened to me. There is no rule break here.

G3.1 is very difficult to prove, but I can't see anything in the footage that proves it took place; it's more of a coincidence if anything. Yes, the 'getaway' vehicle was placed in a way that helped the reported player, but the same could be said for a car parked anywhere in the vicinity. They were more than likely looking for the reported player and not metagaming. There is no rule break here.

@seb1106 mentioned that because the reported player did not use their radio, this led to the initial suspicion of metagaming. In reality, the radio was used. At 10 seconds in the medal footage posted, you see the reported player's hand do a 'funny' animation on the motorbike's handlebars (this). That was them using the radio. The more you know


Moving on, the only thing I don't like about the reported player's actions is the immediate use of Redgull (I believe) and sprinting toward the nearest ally upon spawning. Giving no opportunity to the police to continue the roleplay they crashed out of, literally none. This is poor from the reported player. Imagine if you're in a police pursuit, and your game crashes, you reconnect, and the police instantly tackle/tase/incapacitate and handcuff you. In other words, they give you no opportunity to continue the roleplay. You'd be pissed, rightfully so; why isn't it the same the other way around?

I'm unsure if the police are begrudged by your actions in this scenario or if they even realise what happened. However, use common sense, show some sportsmanship, and play fair around game issues; it's not that difficult. Dare I say your actions are not dissimilar to a 'win mentality'? I expect you, @Huntz-OG, to learn from this and be better.
