Please (in detail) describe the incident: I was out patrolling with Cal Pepper when we came across Father Augustus who proceeded to steal a local car infront of us. I politely with no negative intent asked him to stop and get out of the car so we could have a chat. He then refused, rammed us and took off, a pursuit began where note even 5 seconds into it he called for "his boys" on radio.

Not even 5 seconds after that he starts to threaten to shoot us, which is absurd given the circumstances. He then pulls infront of our car which causes us to spin him out (not intentional as you can see in the clip) at which point we panic and ask for more officers. He then chases us and begins shooting. He follows us down past pillbox where I catch a bullet to the back of my head and fall out of the car, causing it to crash and my passenger to also be shot. Firearms turn up shortly after and a firefight ensues, with the Astecas winning it.

Multiple OOC things were said during this, including one from myself calling the RP from Father pathetic, I was asked to stop by Staff and did not say another message after this. https://i.gyazo.com/270ea43c54dcdd5d11a2138e7c86104c.png

However that clearly wasn't good enough for the Aztecas. Another officer (I believe a Firearms officer) asked them to go to QE but they declined. https://i.gyazo.com/dedd17998b31fa36185058b70916cc39.png

The Aztecas also felt it was appropriate to tell us to stop crying on multiple occasions, despite the 0 roleplay that lead to this situation even starting?

With regards to the second screenshot, I believe this reasoning is entirely invalid and from my point of view there very little to no negotiation, we just got shot for asking a simple question.

Overall, there was very little roleplay, I got shot for asking a question, leading to me spending 20 minutes of my Saturday night bleeding out because somebody can't be bothered to Roleplay with the Police on a Roleplay server. I don't believe the roleplay from Father Augustus was engaging or fun in this situation and benefitted nobody. It then lead to a shootout with the Police which was not needed by anybody.

I can't comment much on the shooting afterwards as I was not directly involved.

Hello there pal, I DC'D when i was out actively with other Azteca's hunting down the gang called Changaloas, my game crashes and i was caught up in a call that i forgot i crashed and rejoined like 5mins later or something to where i need to go get a car asap.

I proceed to take a car and you continue to ask me to step out of the car that i have stolen, which you have every right to, but i am not going to. (also me "ramming you") i am driving a car that takes 3 to 5 working days to turn, i was trying to turn to avoid you to gain speed and drive away. (not "aw hes ramming me")

I TELL YOU TO FUCK OFF OR I AM GOING TO PUT THIS GUN RIGHT THROUGH YOUR BRAIN, AND YOU COME OUT WITH A SMART COMMENT LIKE "WILL YOU?" QUESTIONING MY CHARACTER WILL HE OR NOT? what do you expect when you try to poke the bear when he clearly warns you? then you proceed to wipe my car out? what do you expect me to do? drive up to you and be like yes nice one pal, /e valet13 and talk about females?

my character is only going to respond in one way, i aint going to sit there and be like haha yeh sure

Regards to the ooc messages, i am 908, i respond first when you are calling me pathetic in ooc chat, when someone gives me that energy imma give it back, i respond with keep crying, i told you to fuck off and got smart, is what it is ( this is about me telling you to fuck off in game and your smart comment" and i then proceed to leave a massive message to you back explaining the situation and that i happy to go to QE as you can see in the messages, i cant say who the others are and aren't in that situation , i only know i am 908 and you are 425 so that is all irrelevant to me.

May i ask, where was the roleplaying injuries from police? when they were on the ground clearly salty that they went down? did police not have staff backing tonight to win another situation as it usually does and it upset you lot?

idk, im still happy to go to QE or you can refuse and leave it up staff, i ain't really bothered tbh.

now is it silly taking a car in front of police yes, but my character is silly at times, just like then.

The only reason why i shot you, as because you basically just said to my character in like a snarky way "will you" and tc'd me, so i thought it was warranted enough to let a few shots go (bare in mind i miss like 3 mags, i am just shooting the car)

now your TC could have been desync, if it was then of course for you it might suck as it just looks like you got shot for saying "will you"

I appreciate game crashes happen and you would need to get back into whatever you were doing asap, but how am I meant to know that? As far as I know you've just commited a very basic crime and I was pulling you up on that.

The "Smart Comment" does not invite you to shoot me over such a small thing, it was said under my breath, to myself and my colleague, not directed at you. I am sorry you clearly took offense to me challenging you, I did not assume you'd be stupid enough to shoot cops over such a small thing.

I appreciate your character is hard or whatever, but again, how am I meant to know? There are other ways than just lighting up Police.

You only said about QE some time afterwards, I missed this message and I apologise for that. I also apologise for calling you pathetic as I already mentioned, I did not send another message after that. Telling people to Cry More is just never needed though.

I cannot comment on other officers as only my actions are my own. After having the car riddled with bullets I caught one to the back of the head (the only place I could get shot from through the back window). I took several rounds from fully automatic fire to the head and was run over several times, not gonna lie mate, I am not going to survive that! The staff comment is uneeded and a shitty comment as I dont care about "winning situations". I actively tried to leave the situation and YOU chased me. I appreciate some officers have win mentalities but please do not lump me in with the Stereotype.

I don't care that I got shot, I only care that I got chased down and shot for such a small thing. All you would've had to do is fire a few shots at the car as you can clearly see I was trying to leave. I had a dog in the car as well as another officer, I am going to prioritize getting away and saving their lives, I don't care about getting into a shootout with you. To refer back to what you said earlier "something to where i need to go get a car asap". If you NEEDED to get back into something so quickly why chase down an officer to murder them and then bring your whole gang into another shootout? Fire a warning shot, it was obvious I was trying to get away, then turn around and go do your shit.

At no point have I ever said it needs to my way, nor did I say I was upset. I don't care if I end up shot as long as good roleplay lead up to it, this was not that.

The first shots, whatever, that's fine. As I said warning shots make sense. But chasing down a dog unit who is CLEARLY trying to get away from you, just to murder them in the middle of the street over STEALING A CAR is absurd.

I was one of the firearms officers who responded to this situation.

So RP injuries.
We had a report there was a guy with a gun chasing down an officer, we didn't know who it was till he said over the radio, by then we were pretty much 20 secs away. Me who had a beanbag and my colleague who had lethal, not expecting a mass shoot-out to start. Once we got out the car people were trying to run us over, imo this kinda RP is shite imo. Wasn't you Father it was on of ur boys. So I was trying to avoid being run over but ended up being shot by one of mine own (didn't know this at the time) either way I was dead get run over or take my changes and hope I get lucky, and my colleague stopped shooting briefly.

When I was downed, I said, try getting out ur cars instead of running us over with a voice that clearly sounded like I was in pain. I was met with stop crying, then one guy pulls up and what he said done it for me. Can't remember exactly what he said, but it was clear this member had a win mentality, and I wasn't going to entertain that. Also in your clip, you hear one of you guys get excited about the idea of shooting police.

If am provided with good rp then am happy 2 provide rp back. But all I got was one guy acting like he just won a 1v1 on rust and others laughing and dancing. I don't have a clip, unfortunately, but u can see some of this in the report clip.

Police have done nothing but targeted Aztecas over the course of the week ( irrelevant to this but still plays a factor )

I do a petty crime, which is what i do, I've stole in front of officers before maybe more sneakily but its what i do.

You would've not been perused and killed, if you didn't ram into my car and came out with a comment of "will you". (just like you said i should've shot and then drove away) that's your opinion and everyone's roleplay is different, we can all say you should've done this and that, but that's life its dynamic, it'll never go the way you want it too or me

your video literally didn't upload until like the next day after my response, i was responding to the now, not gonna sit around and wait for a 16 minute video to be finalized when like 10 minutes of it was irrelevant and just the sound of your keyboard going 200mph but yeh, all of this is not needed.

You play silly games you win silly prizes, next time be a bit more careful of who you try to "egg" on i suppose, you wouldn't.

If i do not reply after this apologies as i am v busy and wanted to atleast give you the respect of a response rather than just leave it until its actioned.

Too much over-reaction and knee-jerk from both sides, on this, I feel.

@suwu - having identified that it was Father (you say yourself over the radio that you believe it was him), why on earth did you push a situation you were unlikely to win unless you were mob-handed? He clearly escalated (perhaps a bit sharpish, but not entirely unreasonable for a criminal gangboss to do something similar and call for his cronies and whip out his weapon)... and you sort of did the same, but only after having pushed your disadvantage to a point where it now became a 'challenge' to him. A better option MIGHT have been to disengage, try and tail or locate, alert others to the fact that he had issued a gun threat, and help to coordinate something a little more robust with the members of your team (or firearms, etc). Softly softly catchy monkey. It's not always wise to go balls-deep on a gangland boss when you have a pea-shooter and a waggy finger.

More to the point, the minute you start hurling abuse OOC and calling someone or their RP 'pathetic', you've kind of lost your moral high ground, really. And you were called out by Staff at that point. Please don't do that again. Keep your cool. I know it's bloody hard sometimes when you're a ball of meat on the Legion road, and you've been ejected from a car and run over by half of the City, but you really should just roll with it, sometimes. Some days you get the elevator, some days you get the shaft. Guess which one you got that day? Gotta say, I think the edgy attitude in your RP (which is perfectly legit, in RP) is what got you pwned, but it's a bit like life. I have to agree with Father on that score - **to an extent**.

Meanwhile, @Father, once the cop-car was **in front** of you, clearly running away, I have to say that elevating your simple car-theft to arrant murder in the first degree, was **perhaps** a little bit overkill and unnecessary? A smarter criminal would maybe have turned tail and fled, with a view to ditching the car or replacing it with another, and staying OUT of the eyes of the law or their wanted lists. I appreciate that your dander was up because you met an edgy cop with a big lip, but pride will be your downfall, Mr Criminal, if you carry on in that vein.

BTW, isn't it about time you changed your ID to something **without** the Father prefix? Augustus **Corleone** or whatever your surname is? You can hardly keep trading off the fact that you were once a man of the cloth - those days are so far behind you, that I think it's probably about time we enforced the 'RP names should be realistic' line, don't you? You were given a 'bye' for a very specific line in 'turnaround/good/evil' RP, and that's why we allowed you to have a firstname of 'Father'... but I don't think any **reasonable** church would continue to recognise you as a priest, given your track record, do you? I'm more than happy for people to keep **calling** you Father (it is your 'nickname' in the common tongue, without doubt)... but it's high time we sorted out that ID card of yours, and made it a bit clearer that you're now not really any different from any other two-bit gangland hero in terms of 'standing' in the 'establishment' world. Can you remember the surname you used to use, right at the beginning? LMK when you're good to have that put on your cards, Father.

And next time, please, when someone invites you to QE to discuss their displeasure at a situation, do at least give them the chance. If they turn toxic and abusive, end it and let staff know. Remember that outside the game, we're all still human beings, and we expect players to interact as such, even if in-game we're a bunch of fucking animals. I'm more than happy to tolerate an amount of edgy RP (both ways) in the game-world, as long as it makes some amount of sense, but we need to 'play fair' and hear each other's concerns like gentlemen, outside of the server (again, both ways).

For this reason, no action will be taken EITHER WAY, except to warn BOTH of you... improve or leave.
@suwu - take the L without **immediately** looking to throw insults in OOC please. Learn to climb down, and remember not to go swimming naked in the sharkpool.
@Father - slow it down a bit - even if there IS a nearly valid reason to go ham on someone, it's not always NECESSARY, and it's not always entirely sporting. Remember this is meant to be fun or exciting and meaningful RP for both sides, even if they lose hard, or deserve it. And change that damned ID card, ex-priest.
