You can clearly hear my team mates talking in teamspeak and if I did lagswitch they would have cut out

From the way that the Ifrit was floating away, and the snaps back just as you get shot, along with the way the helicopter was acting and other footage provided, this looks to me like an unfortunate case of desync at just the wrong moment and not a lag switch.
