So me and my friend Koni were hyping ourselves up to do a fun roleplay HM and have some good fun with police. We planned it for around an hour and got our supplies. We were dressed like 'Electricians' and our roleplay story was that we were doing a job across the road when the lorry carrying the queens kittens crashed and the kittens escaped and ran into the HM building, and hid in the crate. So what we did is we put the blasting charge down and awaited for it to go off, however the blasting charge in our RP story was 'Firecrackers' to scare the kittens out so we could grab them and return them. We then realized the police would obviously come so we stood outside with our hands up and completely unarmed the whole time. We had nothing illegal and were apposing absolutely no threat what so ever. Once the police arrived we were quite excited to see how they would RP but instead we got tazers to the face and restraints. Now I can understand since the blasting charge (Firecrackers) have been placed the police have to be cautious and that's fine. But we had no given chance to RP at all we tried to explain but all we got was "you broke the law you're going to jail and your trucks are going to be scrapped" and then we did and our trucks did get scrapped straight away. I say trucks but it was one truck boxer and a hummingbird. You can even hear Reiss saying "please let me scrap the heli". which is really childish. From the police there was no form of RP at all and their intentions were to get into a gunfight and scrap. I would expect better from a CI especially since I've only ever seen good RP from them but there we go. Now for the police sending us to jail and scrapping is so ridiculously unnecessary since we apposed no threat and were completely unarmed and we only tried to have some fun. Our fun got ruined by this completely. We went to liaisons to try and sort this and say "hey cmon can we have some RP?" but instead we got quoted the rule about blasting charges and shoot on sight. This is a roleplay server and stuff like that is going to push people away from the community. Stuff like this shouldn't be taken so seriously especially when we tried to RP the least he could have done was to impound our trucks and let us have a ticket since we had no intention quite obviously to start a gunfight, all we wanted was a fun hour with the cops before restart. Now I know this is tricky since there was a blasting charge but it's so obvious this situation could have been handled better and this to me is completely unacceptable behavior in a community known for it's fun and RP. I would also like to add I want a non-biased opinion as I fell anyone in police is going to be biased. I can also say from my opinion that if this was a civilian doing this to police or this type of thing, we would not get off so easily. (just my opinion).

Also in the footage there is one little cut that is simply because this is two separate videos and if needed I could upload both separately, but for now I pushed them together as it's easier.

Ok, so seeing as this a report for low quality RP i will explain why i gave the RP i did.

So you went into the HM broke in and planted the charge right away. If you look at rule 7.2.4 you will see that when the blasting charge has been planted it is considered that any opportunity for negotiation is over. So you basically just denied the RP to yourself. So seeing as we were notified that a blasting charge had been planted we went in and arrested anyone we deemed involved.
So seeing as you illegally broke into the HM and attempted to blow open the vault door we scraped your trucks and sent you to prison. (But if you have a problem with that i suggest you make a PCC)

Now if you want to RP this better in the future i suggest you message the police and await for them to arrive before the charge is planted. That way you can have some good RP without a time bomb ticking around 50m away from you.

We were going to just explain when you arrived and yes I know the negotiations are off after the blasting charge has been placed but we were so nice and unarmed a little consideration would have been nice. We only tried to have a laugh if we had the chance to explain then maybe it would have went differently.

 I also know you are obliged to do what you did but it's really not great and to me considered poor RP since we only wanted RP we didnt care about gold or nothing we just wanted a laugh and this situation was taken way to seriously.

The reason we put up this report was because of how fast you acted on everything and didn't give second thought. if it were any other person i'm sure they would have AT LEAST listened to the RP story. instead you disregarded everything that was said and instantly scrapped our trucks/heli's.

If you see it from our point, you would understand that the RP was so poor.

End of the day. you broke into the HM without permission and truck and heli can be scraped and you sent to prsion. any normal officer would not let somone get away for planting a bomb in the HM

but in our RP if we had the chance to explain it was not a blasting charge it was simply some firecrackers to scare the so called kittens. 

And yes I will agree we could have called you first to make sure things were okay but we wanted to do it when you got there so you guys knew we apposed no threat.

Also I would like to add yes I know it's very unrealistic for someone to be breaking into government buildings for kittens but so is running around with MXM's on your back and stuff. Not everything is meant to be 100 percent realistic. just some fun :/.

Since I am literally quoting a rule in order to make this decision, I will be handling this anyway. This implication that anyone within staff who is part of a specific whitelisted faction would be biased, is more than a bit of an insult. Both buster and myself are the rank of staff level 4 and are perfectly able to make a fair assessment on what is within the rules or not. If this was a more contentious issue I would usually oblige you but in this case, this is massively clear cut and you need to think very carefully about why you are even placing this report.

When we have people who have commented on this report and are involved having conversations like this, I worry that this is somewhat of a vexatious report. You attack buster who has been a part of this community for a long time and is very aware of the rules claiming he hasn't earned any of the positions he has, for literally doing exactly what the rules tell him to do.

If you wish to roleplay a situation, you should try not placing the charge as was already discussed. You essentially made a threat against the police at the point that you placed the charge so if you had been armed you would certainly have had lethal force used against you with nothing else said. The fact that he opted for a non-lethal approach as you were not visibly armed actually shows that he wanted to actually create some roleplay. The rules state that simply killing you still would have been fine and he did not. I don't see how you can possibly claim that he didn't want to RP.

Your story for roleplaying the treasury was completely valid but you can't play dumb with "oh what's a blasting charge" when they haven't had chance to meet you yet.
