Please (in detail) describe the incident

Me and my colleague Jason Wild were called by the NHS that they found the guy we were looking for, we respond to the location with lights and sirens on. Upon arriving we see the gentleman on the ground. He was wanted after being taken away from a gunfight where a cop was killed. Whilst being treated he gets tossed into the quillen by a friend. We start the chase, our fuel was running low, we kept chasing until we get shouted at by the man at the side of the road, as is seen in the video. At that exact moment our fuel runs out, we stop our car get out and the man starts running at us with his weapon out, before we can even grab our guns he starts shouting and opens fire. As he did shout at us and he didn't fully shoot us out of the blue I feel it is not RDM, but it is most definitely low quality RP in our eyes. As seen in the video he was totally not involved in the situation, he just popped up, shouted a bit and shot us. I would have gone into a liaison with the man, i posted notes in chat to ask him in but after his response of ''You should have had you earplugs in'' referring to a prior situation I knew that would be useless. We didn't bother asking them kindly to join a liaison as they were quite unkind to us earlier on the day to say the least. So here we are now.

This report is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!

Yes

You tried to resolve the situation with the player(s) before reporting

No

This is not a revenge report (Abuse will lead to forum/community bans)

Yes

You did that exact same to me, and you excused yourself by saying its my fault to not wear earplugs. When someone does it to you, you don't appreciate it? Odd. Also keep asking people at gas stations to walk out of it to have a "chat", when in reality you're powergaming the situation, since you know him walking out will immediately stop the robbery.

Keep up the amazing work! *inserts more sarcasm*

Ps. Your mate clearly heard the initiation as he said "he initiated".

I don't think I even need to respond to what you just said, if you feel I did something wrong feel free to put in a report it is your right. My colleague shouted he initiated as he initiated on the car to stop as you did.... I will leave it to staff to decide!

Greetigs,

Hi, im the guy that was driving the downed guy in the black quilin.

You were chasing me and my dude for quite some time so we asked somebody to come and help us. Castro showed up and we drove you into an ambush. Castro clearly initiated on you and you got killed.

When you and your mate got killed we turned around and came to a stop next to you. we did around 2-3min of RPing and then executed the other officer. Somehow we were unable to execute you even tho I shot you in the head like 5 times, so we put you into your car. We would have RP-d some more but we knew that you probably called for backup and decided to leave the area. Your video only shows the part where you got killed. It doesnt show any of the RP that happened after you were killed.

Claiming that this is low quality RP would mean that everytime a cop initiates on you or your tires in a vehicle it would be considered as poor RP. But I think we all know that you cant take 10min to RP with a moving vehicle thats going 100km/h.

I have concerns about both sides of this video.

@Will Grigg, what are the rules concerning players logging on and joining situations? Are you familiar with the phrase 'hop on squad'?

@pikicar, @Castro, the rule states that 'high quality roleplay' must take place, do you feel that this condition was met?

Dear mister AlexRose,

The officer involved in the situation joined our channel to ask if he could join our patrol. Our response was yes of course, after joining our patrol the officer joins the server and asks us where is the best place to spawn, as we are NOT in a gunfight but only a normal car chase I ask him to spawn Agios to come and help us out with the chase. As is seen in the video the officer joins our patrol and gets on the server before any shot has been fired. At the end he did not even leave the Police station as a officer there asked him to help out dealing with a arrested criminal in need of processing. I am very familiar with the phrase Hop on squad as it is a banned word within the Police force. We did not ask the officer to come and join us to help out he joined our channel! We even discuss, very short in Dutch if it is okay for him to join.

(4.7) When joining the server, you cannot involve yourself in any ongoing gunfights involving your group/faction for 15 minutes.

I believe this would be the rule you are referring to, as is stated in this rule our colleague would not be allowed to further involve himself in our situation if we were to fire upon the vehicle, as that would start a gunfight between us and the Rebel group we were chasing. As no shots had been fired, and we only initiated on the vehicle, which is a standard thing to do for cops I do not feel we did anything wrong there.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them here or pop me a message on TS.

Greetings,

Will Grigg

Dear mister AlexRose,

As we were under the impression that backup had been called, we took a counter-measure and sped up the process. However, I wouldn't consider the RP Low Quality, but neither would I say that it was at the highest. We mentioned the earplugs based on the previous time we met that day. Followed by talking about his new beard style. Can't remember more details, but we also finished the RP with "You are being executed by the AFM - Do you have any last words".

(7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low quality RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. Executing another player must also be carried out with high quality roleplay, the only exception to this rule is if both you and the victim are engaged in a gunfight together.

If this is the rule Will Grigg is reffering to, then I believe I satisfied the conditions met.

Kkind Regards,

Castro

@Will Grigg, having considered this report, I feel that rules were not in fact broken.

Whilst the RP may not have been of the highest quality, in practice we currently allow for these sorts of initiations when it comes to fast moving vehicles.
