Greetings.
I am reporting myself since I wish to do so after the incident happened. The incident happened on the 8. & 9. of January 2016. I don't know the exact time, neither I am sure on which server did it happen. I would say on server 1, between midday & 4 o'clock GMT.
The rules I broke are listed bellow in chronological order:
- metagaming (using player tags just to find 2 particular players)
- NLR (only in one case after I found one of those 2 particular players & was killed by him)
- metagaming (using player tags to find them again)
- Glitching through a hatchback to get the inventory out (false report* - I took a gun out while the car was unlocked, but for others, It seemed like I glitched into it)
- RDM in a safe/green zone (on 4 occasions: 1x on the 1st player, 3x on the 2nd player, of those 2 particular players)
- I did not try to resolve the situation with those 2 particular players by my own wish (my quote to them in side chat: "Take it as it is & continue" "I will report myself")
- And the last thing is, making a report after 3 weeks had already passed since the incident
Everything I did, was planed out by me before I did it. I did not had a bad day(tbh never had one, else I wouldn't play, If I had a bad day IRL), I wasn't mad at those 2 particular players, neither was it an act of revenge. Tbh, I made a statement about "what it means to break the rules", I made that statement by my own way, by breaking the rules myself & ultimately reporting myself. Since I wasn't reported, I've decided to report myself(well, being an honest person as I am, I just did it) which I also said to those 2 particular players, If I wouldn't be reported(deadline was set for the end of January by me). I did this without any fear of the consequences, without any regrets & I'm not proud of it either. It was all about fun for me. Why? Well, I got a strong belief that I've hunted down 2 particular players, who I think of were breaking rules themselves(I got no evidence) & I am 100% sure, that they've learned from it(my intuition is bulletproof, I know what I know). All in all, we are still friends, at least from my side/point of view, else I think they would report me. But the thing is, that other players saw me(or not, doesn't matter, I would report myself anytime without any witnesses for breaking a rule,...which ofc I don't do, I am an old member of this community, I know about the rules, besides that I'm not a person who would break the server rules) breaking the rules. Which means, I did not showed a good example of a player, who respects the community & server rules. There should not be double measures for one kind of players, everyone is to be treated the same in front of the law/server rules. I've already imposed few punishments/acts on myself. I would like to show you, how I punished myself(but I wouldn't call it like that either):
- since the incident I don't carry a gun(had a starter pistol for a short period of time, just to have fun by lighting the sky at night)
- I've reset my character(no money, no estates, no vehicles - sold everything & donated to a random player my whole amount of money)
- I do community service by answering FAQ in side chat, occasionally(If I don't RP)
- I'm not making any money ever since, I'll just donate the regular paycheck
- I've decided not to play at all in the month of February(I'll keep my word, I'm honest)
Still I do feel, I deserve a ban, just to make a statement to all, It was not Ok what I did. Since I've joined, ALUK was & is the only game I play ever since, I see it as a hobby, I like to RP like an actor would act in a movie or theater, so It does matter to me, a lot. I'll be more than happy to appeal for an unban, my apology for the effort of banning me(& possibly unbanning me, If the verdict allows it). We might find also another way, how to apply a punishment on me, without banning me, dear admin. Just to add one thing, OFC I wouldn't do it again, meaning I won't break the rules - I like fairness, for what the rules were made for in 1st place.
Dear friends, pls do not like this post, pls just don't, It might set this report in a different light/perspective. I'll miss ya all(even the regular stranger, who just stopped to say "hello" to me, happened a lot of times). Cya in March. Btw, pls don't be disappointed, I am still the same person as I was always.
In meantime, I will be occasionally on forums & TS(If allowed), just to share some ideas/suggestions about ALUK.
