Was at one of the checkpoints waiting for some Poseidon guys to come to it, during my wait I was just roleplaying with people.
Aaron Tracey turns up and I ask him does he have a pass etc and I make a comment "If you drive past I will kill you", bare in mind I don't have a backpack nor a weapon on my back for it to be a meaningful threat. However, he decides to turn back and park up again and say "Sorry I didn't hear what you said" and then pulls out his pistol and start opening fire.

This to me is the poorest quality of roleplay. There was no need to fire against me and especially against someone who was not even part of what happened and had no weapon at all. His friend Lewis C pulled out his weapon and I opened fire on him to this the situation turned hostile. Not once did he say he had friends in the area, it was just a mess.

My report is against Aaron Tracey though, as Lewis did see his friend get shot back at so that is understandable to some degree.
There was plenty of opportunity to roleplay in this situation.

I did ask Aaron to come to TS to resolve a few times but he simply said he was too busy.

As you can clearly see in the video he had clearly fully initiated on me with a threat and pointing a weapon at me. My intention was to pass the checkpoint but I knew that if I did I would be killed and I feared that if I did not take immediate action to defend myself that he could have drawn his gun at any point and shot me as I did not follow his demands.

 
Care to explain why you killed Steve Jones, who was not even part of it and completely unarmed? 

 
I shot him as he was assisting you with the hold up, not every member of the group has make the demands and it appeared to me as he was standing with you on our whole approach that he was a member of your group and therefore hostile towards us.

I don't even know him, he was not part of it. You can't just open fire on anyone you wish. They need to be CLEARLY part of the situation & not to mention, have a weapon to be deemed involved.

I am not in the wrong, I was trying to go about my business and maybe have some good RP at the border when I was almost immediately initiated upon by you and your friend and defended myself in way that yes could have been timed better but I responded to protect me and my friends. This post is simply one made in anger and has only prevented role play for everyone involved.

 
@Aaron07 "If you drive through this checkpoint or around it I will kill you" and "Dont even think about it sunshine" is not enough roleplay for Lincoln to open fire at you. You had no reason to pull out your gun and wildly open fire at the ones behind the gatebar in the checkpoint. You did not provide any high quality roleplay yourself. You said he "fully initiated" on you, but what does the 2.2 / 7.1.3 rule state? YOU have to provide high quality roleplay before you shoot some. You cant just open fire at someone, even though THEY provided high quality roleplay. You have to contribute yourself. What you did here is RDM, and it will be actioned as so.

Action Taken - Aaron Tracey - Banned for 2.2
