Please (in detail) describe the incident: Evening/Morning,

Around 11:30pm on the 6th of this month, the police were involved in a shootout with a group of unknown individuals in the tunnels. Many units responded to this, including my own.

There was some confusion for the units arriving, as we were unsure of the actual location of the incident, hence some units went to the train depot above the tunnels. Whilst there, myself and others began looking for the supposed threat. We than discovered the real location of the incident, and I began running towards the tunnel entrance.

To clarify, no contact has been made between myself and the attacking party leading up to me moving towards the tunnel entrance.

As I approach the tunnel, I spot a bike driving from Pillbox Lower towards me. I don't believe it is reasonable for me to deduce that he is part of this situation as he is arriving from a seemingly unrelated area, as if he has been called in and is only arriving now.

This bike proceeds to approach me, and begin attacking me.

I don't believe that any quality RP has led up to this occurring. Police being engaged somewhere nearby, I believe, shouldn't allow someone to begin attacking any and all police responding.

It's worth addressing the possible issue with the clip I've provided. There is a lack of audio, which may provide some doubt in my claims, but I believe it's clear that neither me nor anyone near me has had any contact with the attacking party.

I did not feel it was suitable to liaise with the individual at the time due to it being a overly frustrating night on the server, and in all honesty I wouldn't have been in the right mood to have a productive discussion. I have since been contacted by the individual in question, and we have had a brief chat, however I would still like to pursue this report. If ID 705 is to read this, my DM's are still open if you wish to chat further.

I am more than aware that I may have breached the explicit 24hr limit set on reports, and this has been put up now to get the ball rolling in some sense.

What has made you want to pursue this report, even after having a brief chat with said player? 
As asked by Ron above, are you still interested at all in going to a Liaison with them and attempting to resolve it between the two of you?

Just going to post this as to get my point of view across in case a we do not get the chance to resolve this report. First off, I am quite shocked to see this report up. As you mentioned, it’s been over the 24hr threshold and I also reached out to you in DM’s so we could clear this up and get my point of view across to you also.
 
You even say yourself in the report that you are attending an active gunfight in which we are fighting the police force, so you are entering that combat situation. If I was to enter an area where police are shooting people and I get involved, I know that I am entering that active situation and my character is at risk of being shot.
 
Now, to give a bit more detail into why I was involved and why police in that area were getting shot. We had been asked by The Lost to attend a situation where police were arresting and shooting their members, being part of a group that is trying to rebuild their relationship with them, we attended and helped out. Again, you say you are aware of what is happening, just not sure of the EXACT location, it’s near where you are and you are trying your hardest to get into the situation, we were shooting police all around that area and you as an officer, obviously attended. You are literally running into the location entrance with an AR in your hands and I have been told police are shooting my group and friends. I’m struggling to see what is random about it to be honest with you.
 
You have no audio so can’t even tell if I’m saying anything to you, you are attending an active combat situation where you know police are shooting and getting shot, and I am following orders from the people we are helping.
 
I am still happy to discuss with you further in DM’s or liaison, but I just want to get my point across on here too. Thanks.
