To start off with, this all began at Triad’s turf. Josh Sweeney and his mate, which is believed to be James McKay (the individual I am reporting), entered Triad’s turf and started a conversation with Noah Voight. They asked Noah if they could buy some drugs but when Noah replied with something along the lines of “Who are you? Can I see some ID?” they immediately got defensive and began saying they will take their business elsewhere. Noah said that’s fine but as they are walking away they turn back around to Noah and began getting mouthy. Fortunately or unfortunately, Noah didn’t have any sort of weapon on his person at the time so he was defenceless and so both individuals took Noah hostage and robbed him in the meantime.

Some time later, myself and Tom Deck, along with many other Triad’s, were on the hunt for Noah to check his well-being as Josh Sweeney (unsure of the exact account name) and the account ‘yadasbackdoor’ posted many photos of Noah in zip ties in an unknown location. Myself and Tom stumbled across Noah stranded on the hard shoulder, downed, on Great Ocean Hwy as we were heading Northbound. Once we picked him up, we continued a little bit further north. Noah stated that Chuck had found them and when he pulled out a shotgun with them at gunpoint, one of them pulled out a taser and spam-tased him whilst the other one stabbed him to death - this is the same person which tased me in the video as only he was armed with the taser.

We checked behind a building on the right of the motorway and saw the man that had taken Noah initially, wearing the same clothes, on Chuck’s bike. We only clocked on quite late and so he started heading into the hills but we couldn’t follow. Our priority now focused on getting Noah to hospital, arming up and going on the hunt for Chuck.

As Noah was dropped off at hospital and myself and Tom had gotten out Firearms, we headed back up towards the mountains. One of the gang members had noticed the same person on Chuck’s bike relatively near the mines. He chased until the bike crashed and once they started to run on foot, he’d lost him unfortunately. We thought he’d been picked up by his mate.

The search died down for several minutes until I had an idea that sprung to mind that they may had driven to a nearby clothing store to get a change of clothes. My theory was in fact correct as I pulled up to the clothing store on Route 68 and saw a Dinka Double-T out front. This sparked my interest as it wasn’t parked in such manner that it would be a local’s bike. I had a glance inside the store and noticed 2 people inside getting changed. I notified everyone on frequency and they must’ve panicked (that they saw me radio’ing in, not because the heard me as I was on whisper) and ran out the store. I didn’t attempt to engage with them as I was out numbered so I jumped in my car and I was going to follow them until more of us arrived. They decided not to and, who I believe is James McKay, tased me as I opened the door to my car. Must I note, the only thing that possibly related to Triad’s colours would be my car as no piece of clothing could possibly link me to it. I believe this is RDM as they didn’t speak a single word before tasing me.

In the end I think Josh Sweeney was arrested for some other crimes and admitted himself that he’d taken someone hostage. And we also found Chuck dumped somewhere in the mountains, near the mines.



The reason(s) I believe the person who was with josh Sweeney was James McKay:
1. This Tweedle image (https://i.gyazo.com/366637e4e3d836a035192ea23f483a38.png) was signed off by James. We know that Josh is who James was with as he’d also posted on Tweedle pictures of Noah (as previously mentioned).
2. Additionally, Josh had spoken with other Triad members on the phone and confirmed his identity this way.
3. If you take a look at this OOC Interaction from Chuck, Sweeney, Voight and McKay (https://youtu.be/Fa8Ck-ZfG3U) it is clear to me that James was definitely directly involved with the situation.
4. From accounts from Chuck & Noah, they saw ID numbers 255 & 260 (these can be seen in the video) which further confirm this is James.
5. Moreover, both Chuck and Noah said only one of them was armed with the taser and that it was Josh Sweeney's friend.

Sorry for such a lengthy report, this situation was ongoing for 2 hours+ so I wanted to make sure I had as much detail as possible in this so your job would be easier.

Right may I start of by saying that we had asked for you lot to come ts about the situation and was told no. So you didn't come resolve it which could have avoided this situation.

I dont know if this was an attempt to make a report before we could even though I had talked to Noah.

Also we did ask to talk to you guys about how you "magically found chuck in the mountains" even though I had not been seen in the mountains as you guys continually looked up and down the freeway until you found and chased james. He was left in a big bush far from the scene and no cars were left and I waited long enough to see if I was followed or seen. I think OOC talking your death location for the purposes of a gun is not too smart. 

(G1.2) Random Death Match (RDM) - Attacking another player without engaging in any form of quality roleplay is considered RDM.

You were tazed. This did not result in your death. Furthermore as you said in the report, This situation had been ongoing for 2+ hours. There was extreme lengths of roleplay via me taking him hostage and roleplaying with him, calling his in-game "father and brother", talking with other gangs to negotiate his release and an active chase from the triads. You all had chased James for a long period of time and he had been in a bush and your cars had been driving around him searching for him. Of course when a red car pulls up to the clothing store and sees us and runs and radios we are going to take a well educated guess that you are with the triads which of course you were. If it were a local civ car that was red and you just came in we wouldnt have taken the suspicion of you being a Triad, however you're in a RED custom car and In the area of where we were being chased and immediately started talking on the radio when you seen us. 

If you're gonna witchhunt me to try get me banned because im an annoyance to your gang then you need to do better. And i know this is the case from Jet saying, "dont worry Joseph youre gonna slip up one day" on teamspeak which i have recorded.

For finding Chuck in the mountains, I wasn’t the one which found him nor do I know who did. 

Moving on to the claim of RDM. Nowhere in the rule does it state that I have to be killed for the incident to be classed as RDM so the claim still stands. The fact you and your mate assumed I was a Triad (not saying your assumptions aren’t correct) and therefore tased me because of it, isn’t enough to drop the RDM. I was outnumbered, 2:1, so you guys could’ve easily dealt with this situation much differently. For example, taken me hostage. 

I had a talk with a Level 3 Staff Member (will not say who as of now so I don’t directly involve them in the report as they may be busy with others) and they said that this would be RDM under the circumstances that followed. I personally had no previous interactions with yourself, not on Triad’s Turf or anywhere else during the situation. Because of this, your friend has RDM’d through tasing me without a word being spoken. This was vital in the situation as I had lost you immediately as I was on the floor shaking. If it hadn’t been for the taser shot, this situation could’ve ended much differently.

As far as I am concerned, I am a major character involved in the report. And my name was mentioned in it therefore I am going to reply unless further instructed not to by a staff member. 

Why would we try take you hostage when you were getting into your car, of which we wouldnt have been able to taze you out of and you would not have complied with us if we had tried, and we had already seen you on the radio so we knew your friends were on their way, thus putting us in immediate danger as they had already attacked us with firearms. 

If we identify you as a part of a gang that has attacked and is currently hunting us down then I would arguably say we had every right to taze you. You involved yourself in the situation when you started hunting for us and had clearly been doing so for while as you were in the area of where i picked james up from hence when you showed up he said to me "they're here" which is why we ran out. 

And as for the chuck situation, I already discussed with a member of your gang that I don't tend to report people but if you use your brain its with 99.9% certainty I can say that the timing of your locating of chucks body was highly suspicious, regardless this report is not about that.

 James had mentioned to me that he's nearly sure you had fired shots at him prior to this situation when he was trying to escape from all of you. Can you provide video footage about  minutes prior to the beginning of your clip?

Also the D in RDM stands for Deathmatch, DEATHmatch but i digress. If this staff member you talked to has come to that verdict why not deal with the report?

 
Hi i am James McKay

we sorted out the whole thing about him having a shotgun as Joseph stated to Noah, i saw him when he got off the bike and there was a second where he didn't have it out so i got behind the car, pulled out a taser and shot him but i noticed you never mentioned that he was radioing his location on when he was dead on the floor shouting "I'm dead, I'm dead, great ocean highway" 

as for me tasing you in the clothing store it was obvious you were a triad / after us because i heard the bell from the door, got out the menu and seen you radioing then running away so for us to get away quicker i tased you so we would have a few seconds to get away before you can finally chase us, obviously i was right and you were a triad hence why you started shooting at us when you stopped being tased, i can tell that this is just a petty report and you're grasping at straws here since non of us have actually broken any rules, just because you had no interaction with us doesn't mean you aren't targeting us because YOU are a triad and YOU as a member of the triads are hunting 2 people who just killed your friend lol, on top of that you LITERALLY pulled up to the clothing shop in a red car, the same car that we seen on triad turf haha

all I'm getting from this report is that you tried hunting me with your gang out of gang colours and you're mad that I still realised that you were a triad and didn't get any of us, plus i already knew you were a triad because it was dead obvious so why would we mess about trying to get you hostage when i literally witnessed you radio in your location? nobody runs into a clothes store, radio then run out and i was simply being cautious trying to get away, I'm sorry the 2+ hour scene didn't go your way i guess?

as lucizz said, you have made no attempt to resolve it at all and reporting out of spite, lucizz and I asked you and others to come into TS multiple times, each time we got a "nah you're alright" and only Noah wanted to resolve it, you just wanted to revenge report because you didn't get the win

Not possible for me, with my new work hours I never get time to play and I pretty much get back from work, eat, shower then sleep. Then on weekends I have important family stuff to do, Haven't even been able to play the server for weeks

Personally though I don't really see what needs to be resolved, In my eyes no rules were broken, it was a 2+ hour scene and he was easily spottable as a Triad since he was chasing us in the exact same car for 2+ hours taking away the fact it was RDM or even Attempted RDM. To add to it I'm pretty sure he was dressed as the exact same person before (The person who had the shotgun, got killed and magically got found miles and miles away from the original scene)

 
Apologies for the long wait. I've found this report a bit more tricky than first anticipated to deal with.

However, after some time, and a bit of food, I've arrived at my conclusion. So, overall, the roleplay provided could've been better. So, let's start from the beginning. If you decide to take a member of a gang hostage, especially a well established one, then you run the risk of becoming a target yourself. As mentioned by @Connor Connards, you were actively being tracked down in order to avenge their friend. By the way you were acting in the clothing shop, and based on your comment, you were well aware of these consequences.

"Also we did ask to talk to you guys about how you "magically found chuck in the mountains", what you're trying to get from this, I'm not entirely sure. However, based on what @Connor Connardssubmitted, you were found in a normal way, like everyone else find someone. 

So, to conclude. I wouldn't call this a case of RDM, however, I'd highly recommend @JamesBriscoeand @Lucizzto not instantly taze someone. Next time, try and speak to them before tasing someone. Had you not commented on the circumstance behind it, and had @Connor Connardsvideo not shown and confirmed it, this would've been RDM. No matter what kind of roleplay is going on, i.e being on the run from a gang, you should always provide roleplay while tasing someone. I'm not going to give you a guideline on what to say, since I'll leave that up to you. 

Based on my conclusion, no rules were broken, therefore neither @JamesBriscoeor @Lucizzwill receive any punishment.
