Server: GTA RP
Your Character Name: Adam Busy
Reported Players: 135
Date: Apr 2, 2025
Time: 18:54
What best describes this incident: RDM / Poor RP standards
Please (in detail) describe the incident: Hello!

After attending a shop alarm where a male had been followed by various Ballaz members present, I followed at a distance and then noticed that they were holding this male at gunpoint. Due to this, I have continued to observe, call for further units and monitor the situation whereby two of the Ballaz members present have run towards my car as shown in the footage. At approximately 01:21 a firearm is pointed towards me and nothing is said verbally. I began to reverse my vehicle and at approximately 01:23 I was shot, not hearing anything verbally from the male (135) pointing the firearm.

Due to this, I have asked the Ballaz members present to attend a liaison room to discuss the matter where I do not believe a valid justification has been given for their actions. As I outlined in the discussion in liaison, I expect a higher and better standard to be presented by a white-listed faction, especially from players who are not new to the server. I have asked as well if you think as a gang in general if you think the standard that you provided is good or up to par with the server and you still held the opinion that your actions during this situation were within the rules which I think quite worrying.

No matter the outcome of this, I do hope that something is taken away from this situation. Even if I were to be a friend or fellow gang member of the lad who was being held up, this is still poor, and I do not believe that this would amount to a valid justification for your actions.

I'll leave it at this for now as you have accused me of NVL, which I personally do not even understand based on my POV. Also, if an argument is made about my audio, I am happy to show clips of me being able to hear people speaking to me with music on. This is how my recording software captures clips, and I can assure you I can hear people RPing whilst I have my music on!

You have shared your POV, which I link below, this again reaffirms my stance and opinion on this situation -

@Danny Hunter

I believe this report is against yourself, please respond as soon as you can, just so the staff team can get an understanding of your thoughts and motives behind what has happened in the clips provided,

Thank you

Thank you for tagging me Hank, it is indeed me in the clip.

I will start off by saying, I realise I could have provided better RP than what it appears in that clip. Unfortunately, that is what I was trying to do.

As you can see in my POV I shouted a demand and a consequence at you, trying to get you to stay. The goal being further RP; depending on how it carried out, questioning you and either taking you hostage, or making threats towards you and set you free. Unfortunately, you couldn't hear me, which means your experience of the situation is quite different.

At first we weren't sure if you were an accomplice or a cop or just some random person being nosy. Regardless, you can see we are gang members, you know we have a history of violence, and we actively have guns out when you pull up. You decide to take the risk of staying there, which is yours to take, and eventually, I point my gun at you and so does my mates. In that situation, with guns pointed at you, you still decide to back away.

I recognise that the situation you experienced from your POV could look like RDM, but as you can see I did try to engage in RP.On our end, you try to back away, despite guns being pointed at you, which looks like NVL, regardless of rather you could hear me or not.

In the moment, I felt like I had given a demand and a consequence and you had chosen to ignore it. Ultimately, I could have provided better RP, by shooting your tires, running after you, or trying to make sure I was shouting but with the threat of being shot as we saw your gun out at the kraken, but no arrest being made on the robber, I had to make a quick decision based off the possibility of you being friends with the man with his hands up. As well as the fact that you were radioing, for what I could only assume to be back up.

I can only apologise for the lack of voice-awareness on my part, and next time, take into account not to jump directly to the consequence.

As I asked in the liason room, hypothetically speaking, if I could hear what you said... do you think that this would be considered good roleplay, especially from a whitelisted faction, because if you do, that's shocking mate. I think if your ultimate goal was 'further RP' you would have considered taking a different course of action, and I think common sense dictates that.

Also, I'm not even going to reply to the NVL comments you have made as I think it is a reach, to say the least, and if anything is an attempt to divert the topic at hand which is your actions as an individual.

If this is the standard that whitelisted factions as a whole are allowed to partake in and represent whilst playing, I have lost hope in all honestly mate. I'll echo what I said earlier and I do think it is worrying that you think that you're not in the wrong. Your intentions are quite clear and therefore I haven't got much further to say.

If staff want me to elaborate or comment further I will be happy to do so, otherwise the POVs do the talking.

All the best,

Biz
