Please (in detail) describe the incident: At approx 0115-0120 a panic alarm was activated with the officer claiming to be being engaged by armed individuals. As such I responded to this and when I arrived I notice an individual crouched next to his car facing away from me, I see no one else so proceed to hold him at gun point and announce myself as Armed Police instructing him to place his hands up, I issue this command twice to which he whips around like Rambo and shoots me directly in the head with absolutely no RP whatsoever and then he just runs away with no intent to RP with me.

I spoke to the individual in Discord where he claimed he did have a gun out but that I didn't see it due to an animation glitch and stated that he didn't hear my commands because he was tabbed out of the game.

Good afternoon, 

I’ve got a couple of points to make which many of the other cops in the liason seemed to agree with. 
 

First of all as stated in your report you were aware there were multiple individuals armed with guns, yet you seemed to run in armed with simply a pistol, by yourself. This for me is poor RP.

As we discussed, unfortunately for you you couldn’t see my gun when pointing a gun at me, as my Combat PDW was phasing through the car, but you were aware I was armed.

You have stated that you were provided with no RP from my self. Please could you describe to me what you would of liked me to do when you pointed a gun at me. Have a quick 5 minute chat? You have then said I had no intent to RP with you after shooting you. Again please could you describe what RP you would like from me while I have 3 other cops shooting me, and you provide nothing as you were to busy INSTANTLY writing in OOC chat about my “NVL”.

During the shootout, I spoke to medics and allowed them to start picking up and treating downed officers, as I do understand the pain of lying on the floor doing nothing for 40 minutes only to bleed out.

In the liason you said the RP was “Just not good enough” and that I need to get “more creative”. However when I asked what would you of liked me to do in the scenario, you had nothing to say.

Ultimately, I think you fail to understand that you are not the only person in the situation and that is was a ongoing situation which you have just walked into. You saw the panic, drove there as quick as you could, and pulled your gun out, and ran in by yourself. Where is the “high quality RP” in this?

I would like to add as well it seems like you had agenda before even joining the liason being in quite a negative mood, after joining the liason with other officers you put in ooc this….

Thanks for the concern of my Poor RP, however I think you fail to understand you are not the “main character” in ever situation and I can not RP with 7 downed cops while being shot at.

I don't understand why you have attached a photo allegedly of me saying something when clearly this was not me, my session number at the time was 966, not 1081 as shown in the image you claim is me typing. As for my comments of NVL in the OOC chat I had explained to you why I had thought this, this being that I could not see your gun and with how quick everything had happened it appeared to me you had pulled it out and used it after being at a disadvantage and given an instruction which if that had been the case would have fallen under NVL, however after our conversation and us both looking at my clip, this clarified why I had not seen your gun and that you already had this equipped. As such I had rescinded my accusation of NVL and that is why I have not accused you of that in this report. Unfortunately I am unable to alter the name of the clip which is why that title remained. 

As for the questions raised surrounding my roleplay, to bring into question why I attended a shots fired let me inform you first of the layers of armed police the LSPS use in the city, this first being FTOC officers, these are officers who undergo basic firearms training and are equipped with a sidearm, this was introduced to run with the Avante Garde policy which I see as similar to the PSNI style of deployment of sidearm armed officers. FTOC officers may use there firearms in order to defend life or limb as per common law in the city and will more than likely attend alongside ARO's to calls where firearms are present. As per the time of night available ARV units where limited and therefor FTOC officers made way towards the scene in order to protect the public and bring a resolution to the situation all using the National Decision Making model in line with Police guidelines and as such is why I attended this incident.

As I arrive on scene I notice one of my colleagues car on the pedestrian concourse and as such I proceed on to investigate and see if any officers where next to it, as I get closer to it I see a fallen colleague to which I run towards to provide aid and extract to safety, as an FTOC holder this is my priority to observe and aid anyone who needs my help and I approached with this in mind as I had not heard any shots whilst on scene and I had also noticed my other colleagues arriving on scene who I am aware hold FTOC as well therefor I know I am not going into this situation on my own, this led me to believe it was safe to enter the scene to provide aid to the fallen officer and withdraw him from the situation. As I get closer I notice yourself as I check the corner, you are not in police clothing and are crouched next to a car which is clearly not Police and with no weapon visible to me, with this information in mind I make the assumption you are likely the offender and as such I attempt to apprehend you peacefully with the intention to help my colleague afterwards. 

This is where you in turn as quick as you can just to lick a shot off me without saying so much as a word to me, you could have taken many different routes of RP. You could have spoken to me telling me you where armed and that I was to back off for my safety, you could have led this to a negotiation/standoff where we could have discussed possible demands which could have led to you eventually being able to kill me after RP with being frustrated with me not meeting your demands or not listening to your threats to leave. You could have chosen to surrender and allow one of your friends to approach and try and rescue you. There are a multitude of possible scenarios that could have chosen to do all still with the outcome of you "winning", but having earned that win with quality roleplay. Instead you chose to go with the quickest and easiest way for you to get a "win" all with not providing any interaction with myself. It is not my fault you missed an action or command in RP because you decided to 'Tab out' in an active situation.

So in short yes I do not believe your RP was "good enough" or up to par of that of a serious roleplay server, you absolutely could have been "more creative" and created a scenario in which we both enjoyed. This for me I have shown was not about winning, I have no problem losing or dying in RP as long as the scenario has been made fun especially as my equipment is expendable and easily gained back after 'respawning' and this has been demonstrated by myself with many different figures in the community who have done similar scenarios and killed or dumped me but first with providing me with a fun and enjoyable interaction and I have commended said people afterwards. 

I may not have had examples at the time of our discussion for how you could have done better, I do not commonly play roles out with Police and therefor do not often have to think about how to RP those roles in a serious manner, it is not my responsibility to teach you how to behave or play your criminal roles in a serious manner that falls withing good RP I should expect you already know how to if these are roles you play more often. 

As for your latter comment regarding me having the belief that I am the main character or having "an agenda" is nothing more than a inflammatory attack and not needed within this report.

Hello guys and girls,

I see that this report has gone up under Poor Quality RP, yet the video is titled 'NVL'.

Lets go into it;

'Poor Quality RP' isn't a rule. You could say that it defaults to RDM "Attacking another player without high quality roleplay". However, this gunfight had already started and you were late to the show as seen by the Panics, and the downed officer.

'Value of Life', the player is in an active gunfight with Police and has downed other officers, he isn't alone. Whilst yes you have him at gun point with his back turned but he took a chance, and won.
