Your Character Name: James Nolan
Reported Players: 115
Date: Aug 28, 2024
Time: 15:45
What best describes this incident: VRDM/ Fail RP
Please (in detail) describe the incident: I was driving casually down Vespucci Blvd to where a car that looked like a local was going crazy (the normal bug) however this car then started to target me and hit me, there was no RP initiated to this either. Player 171 helped me gain session ID for this player but we also established he was laying down now i could be wrong but i think this may be a rule break as now it makes him impossible to hit and at same time i would say its fail RP as if you are laying behind a steering wheel u can not see so you would not be able to drive and target people like that. However player 171 should get a comedation

Hello @BorisJohnson601 ,

As per the report guidelines, for reporting RVDM/RDM you'll need 3-5 minutes of footage prior to yourself being attacked. This is to establish that there is indeed no roleplay exchanged. There is only a handful of seconds provided here, it is impossible to determine if prior roleplay was provided or not.

Do you have a clip showing the 3-5 minutes leading up to this? If so, can you provide it please.

I do not as I only started my recording when I realised that it was a player driving and not a NPC bug

Good morning @BorisJohnson601 ! :)

As stated by Bonzi, for reports such as RVDM or RDM we do require footage which shows 3-5 minutes prior to the reported incident.
Reason being is, we need to see the context around the action before supposedly handing out false punishments - To explain further, if you legitimately run someone over in game but they only clip the section of you doing that and report it without any of the other context/reasoning leading up to you doing so, it would be a false ban and you'd find it unfair.

As you're unable to provide this, unfortunately there isn't much we can do with the report on this occasion.

DECLINED
