Remove Vehicles from ANPR after Storm.

Hi! hope this suggestion proves to be a benefit to the server.

Brief Summary: 

ANPR marked vehicles should be removed from watchlist once storm retrieves the vehicles.

Detailed Suggestion:

Vehicles that are reported and marked as stolen should be removed from the watchlist and restrict it from being hit by the ANPR once the storm restores the vehicles back to it's rightful owner.

Reason as to I am making this suggestion is because I have recently bought a car from a dealership and when driving with my fellow colleagues that were clocked in at the time, they have warned me that the vehicle was flagged by the ANPR as it was reported stolen by it's previous owner.

The Pros:

Vehicles that have been restored to it's owners due to the storm are no longer looked for which caused the police to stop vehicles unnecessarily to prove their identity that they DO own that vehicle. Additionally, it reduces the time a civilian is stopped and possibly even taken to the cells for not having an ID card on them worst case scenario.

The Cons:

Dev work

Does this suggestion change balance on the server?

I don't believe it will, it'll actually restore the imbalance caused by this.

Why have you not asked your friends to unmark it as stolen? If that was not possible, this is rather fitting as a bug report than a suggestion.

Hi Kate,

We found out the reason why it was hit by the ANPR from the original owner first before making any decisions. But yeah this suggestion could be moved to bug reports.

It makes sense though, if you report a car as stolen to police it'd be marked as stolen until you contact the police to tell them you got it back (and obviously if someone sells you the car the police wouldn't know that it was no longer stolen).

Yeah 100% but it'd also make sense that if cars automatically return after the storm then they shouldn't be marked as stolen anymore, because in RP the car wasn't found by the person or police but instead the storm brought it back to impound.

But yeah just a thought we've had that would lessen the trouble for both police and vehicle owners.

 
When the server restarts all stolen tags are cleared anyway, this was requesterd and implemented ages ago, am I not following this right?

Watchlist clears to if I'm not mistaken?

Going to reject this - Cars are marked as stolen until the police are informed or retrieved from the impound.
