Remapping hotkeys on keyboard?

Hello all,

I've got a keyboard which has 8 hotkeys (sound mute, sound up, sound down etc.), which I want to remap to do nothing, so I can then use them as my whisper keys. Would anyone know how to disable theys keys from doing anything when pressed, but still able to be used as hotkeys in teamspeak? I can use them as hotkeys now, but they'll simultaneously have their original effects like opening a browser or muting my sound xD

I have a Corsair K95 RGB with 18 macros. Do I know how to utilize them? No sir I don't :(...

Hi Khandamir, It really depends on what keyboard it is that you actually have, but generally without getting way to technical the answer is no for the basic media keyboards as that keypress is mapped as a default.

But it is not the end of the road for you my friend, there is software out there that you can map any keypress or macro you desire, works very well in arma3 and ALUK.
the keys are a little bit of a pain to setup, but once your up and running !! wooooo

here is the power grid I use, some buttons won't work for you due to customised TS setup, and I cannot find the original post I made in regards to setting it all up, I suppoe I can make another but not right now whilst im at work. (easier method would be to ping me a msg on steam and Ill go through it with you 1to1)

You'll want to download the drivers for the keyboard here: http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/support/downloads
This won't really help though from what I've learn't. You can map a G key to a normal key and that's it, I think...

Example;

G1 mapped to F5

[F5 on google will refresh the page so you can either press G1 or F5]

If you don't understand, I'm sorry. I'm shit at explaining things sometimes.

Mine is a Gembird USB Gaming Set.. KSB-UMG-01
the issue has been confused by somebody posting another technical question which has little to do with the OP, he just wanted access to the keys and drivers should fix that as edgar linked him.

What Khandamir would like to do, is somewhat different, he would like to remap keys that already have a standard funtion assigned to them, this would be like remapping all your keys on your keyboard to type different letters, so yes it is possible, yes it will be complex. The easiest solution I can think of that wont cost him any cash is the roccat power grid, or he can just buy a new KB with custom key support.
