Red zone clarification needed

So a couple of questions about the redzone, since I've been thinking about coming back to RPUK after a long hiatus.

1. Are other players allowed to KOS/VDM/RDM me without engaging in RP while in redzone? Just making doubly sure I understand how things work in RZ

2. Is it allowed to shoot players inside rebel outposts without engaging RP or do you need to engage in RP first?

Once you enter the red zone you are kos and you can kos, you may vdm if they are mrats e.g hunters striders and ifrits all other rules stand though.

1. Yes... its uncontrolled lands, If you go there then protection is recommended, however there is no real need to go there.... unless you do not want to be taxed at the UNMC blackmarket of course, So kill of sight without any roleplay is allowed in this zone.. the roleplay here is that your in a uncontrolled non mans land!

2. Rebel outposts are in the redzone

Ok thanks Wilco, but I need 1 more clarification about VDM.

To me it would make sense VDM is also allowed in any vehicle since you can shoot anyone without any talking. Or am I completely mistaken about this? If so I would like to at least understand the reason why that is...

Not that I intend to venture into RZ without a gang to back me up, yeah I get that part.
