I am trying to start a series on youtube starring my character and following his story, I have some great ideas and have a little experience in editing I just have no clue on how to get the shots I want (like third person recording when in first person and getting specific angles/drone shots and was wondering if there was a mod that isnt breaking the server rules or a built in method of doing this?

For recording I use OBS for the video and voice meter so that I can separate the game and VOIP audio. for different angles and first person the only things I could think to do that could be to play in first person or use Rockstar editor however I've heard its not great to work with. For editing I use Davinchi Resolve, for a free program its really powerful and there ar elots of tutorials on YT

Thankyou! I did try rockstar editor but due to the amount of people in the server it still hadnt loaded a 30 seconds clip for atleast half an hour so I dont think it is very viable. I guess Ill have to do all my up close cutscenes in single player. Thanks!

Yeah, rockstar Editor is buggy. I couldn't find a way for it to work apart from editing a Clip, a 30 secs clips... one at a time after that I would need to restart FiveM

Also keep in mind that, if you record in first person, even with the rockstar Editor you will be forced into first person view, no shiny camera views

That is really sad to hear, I had some great ideas to use especially with rockstar editor just not sure what to do instead, I guess just basic recording?

I was thinking of a cutscene that shows me in depth pulling a gun from a boot with many different angles
