Recommendation for upgrades?

Current Setup:

I7 4790K

16GB DDR3 RAM

256GB Samsung EVO SSD

1TB Western Digital HDD

Invidia GTX980 Strix Edition OC

ASUS Gryphon Z97 MotherBoard

Noctua dope air cooler...

(Give me suggestions for new parts and upgrades...)

I am planning on Overclocking my current GTX980 to 1500 from 1237 so if i end up getting another GPU i would rather SLI'ing my current one

Out of interest Why do you want to upgrade, That setup should still be good for even new AAA titles. (Ok not ultra settings on all but high/very high)

personally I wouldn't recommend using SLI, as it is still such a mixed bag on what supports that functionality.

Next question how much money do you have to upgrade, or this is a hypothetical jerk off about what you would want?

i honestly see not reason for you to upgrade this setup the components themselves should be good enough for pretty much anything for the next few years i would say. Unless something is broken and you're having issues the only real upgrade you could do that probably also wouldn't be worth it as you have a noctua cooler which i also have and will not be replacing for a long time is add in a custom water loop. Other than that I'd say you're set.
