So, over the past few days many, many people have been complaining that the one thing wrong with the entire server is that there are no ATM's at the rebel outposts. Many people have also said that they're the busiest places on the map, and that no ATM's are ruining everything...

Now, with both servers full - we see absolutely no-one at the rebel outposts... just goes to show that so many people were there simply to camp for the money.

Why else would people stick around at the outposts? Of course they were there just for the money!

I'm going to say that during the new update las this week I've noticed a lot of players new comers and veterans alike have show rising hostility and also I've noticed that roleplay has dropped significantly especially during late night hours.

I would like to know why? Why all this pent up hostility against one another?

scared of loosing their money thats why

Normally you could show up with no money and have a chat, then you have a chance to know if they are friendly or not. Now (when the atms were gone) you show up with 300-700K

It's like asking why are we here? who created us?

There is no answer to your question and there is an answer to your question.

Give it time, when the next cleansing comes ( The ban hammer) you'll see that roleplay will be prioritized again.

But personally i think it is that nobody likes to lose or feel weak, so they are all acting like alpha males thinking their gang is better than the rest etc etc....

RiP is the best

Already did buddy, 1 week as a rebel and that was enough for me. Its hard and dangerous going in alone especially. The more numbers you have, the less worrying about losing money and stuff.

The risk is always high, when you go in alone or with a friend.

as per most cops leave and then kill cops all the time and yet they join back in 48 hours and then get the rank back that they were at but its hard to be a rebal nothing goes our way all the cops want is gunfighs and no RP as it has just happend tryed to RP to get a person that was getting sent to prison and then the cops just knocked him out and then they open fire on us so maybe try more than 1 week next time and see how much money you lose

Hate to be that guy but are you serious?

People that do that get punished and have to get a lower rank and pcso for 2 weeks in the 1 case it has happened

Stop being so salty mate

Vice Versa

I could roleplay with a rebel but they could chose the gunfight option

you could roleplay with a cop and they chose the gunfight option

Then either sides next encounter is going to be the gunfight because they already know how it's going to work with that person

on going circle, faults from both sides

Try to RP? You wanted your mate back, fair enough. Your friend broke the law, you threatened to kill the cops that rightfully wanted to sent him to prison. Police had good numbers and a good setup for once, so we choose to fight. We won, lost 1 officer, you lost about 4 and 3 were sent to prison. Note how we still tazed 2 of you, despite shots being fired.

The police is there to police. Ever noticed how cops only get recommended or are considered good cops when they let rebels go with their guns and drugs? You are rebels and we are cops and we both RP'd the way we should. It resulted in a good gunfight for once, I'm sure you woulden't complain if you had won.

As for people leaving: they have been given PCSO for 2 weeks and all getting demotions. That being said they are good and valuable officers that we definitely want to keep in our force, so why would we not show leniency?

Weird that role play has dropped don't you think? I would have thought since it's more risky people would not to the outposts as often or in early hours of the morning which leaves the brilliant opportunity for role play to appear. Understandably bigger gangs (Gc, TI, RiP etc) would need the firepower but still leaves a lot of opportunities, or am I just thinking this in the wrong way.

Think this post is pretty unnecessary and showed us what we all knew, except with a picture. The ATMs created a problem that didn't exist before, it made things worse. Saying people went there to get money is something that everyone has agreed upon, because the Management created a situation whereby sitting at the Rebel outpost was the most profitable thing to do, and something that required no effort. This was obviously going to be used by anyone who had the sense to do so, regardless of whether they complained about it or not. The complaints were of the bigger picture, that you created a problem where one didn't exist. Anyway, those complaining wanted a change, but that's obviously not going to stop them abusing the tactic while it was available.

So yes, now that ATMs are back (so I've been told) the problems will stop and people will go back to how they were, and simply go there to gear up with the rare fight actually occurring there.

Regarding the rise in hostility, I personally feel this is because of a lack of content...and I know some people say "oh but we live in a Roleplay world where anything is possible", i disagree, a gun is not a fishing rod, a gun is a gun. For quality roleplay, fun roleplay, we need assets to use and to help create our story, we've received nothing as of yet..except for Police skins, fair play with that, think they're great and I'm glad the Cops like em.

If you take a look at the "Your Suggestions" tab, you will see 100s of fantastic ideas. In total there are 1,710 threads. I would be surprised to see one in which a member of Management has responded, and actually implemented it. The Approved section has nothing... I am fully aware of the sacrifices being made for this Framework and Community, how much work the Management are putting into the Framework but there is only so long a game can go without updates....The Division, recently released, already mapped out all their updates, monthly, new content. We have been here for years and received very little.

As a long time player I can use previous experience to show when this has happened before. The housing update, it took us a lot longer than other Communities to get the housing update implemented on this server, and what happened was that the Community pretty much died, because they could go elsewhere to get the content that others were enjoying...as soon as you brought it in, everyone flooded back. The Community here is the best, of that I have no doubt, and I imagine that is the reason a lot of us are still here, but content can become a big factor.

Looking at the suggestions you can see a post about Interactive Event Schedules and suggestions...what ever happened to those?...they are such a rarity yet when they occur people have so much fun...regardless of whether it's a race, a riddle, an ambush...

I feel it's become very clear as of late that the general idea is to copy and paste this Community into as many games as possible, insert roleplay into everything we touch..but that comes at a cost, and that cost is your ALUK Community. As people move onto different games there is a lot less of a reason to come onto here, and a lot find that unless something exciting is happening..usually an operation of some sort of turf war...rescue op etc, there isn't that much reason sadly...

Anyway...these are my own opinions and maybe I'm just being rather cynical
