Quite simple really, the addition of reactions in group chats, same thing discord has - being able to react to messages with emojis.
Useful for announcements and other things that you want people to read and acknowledge, gives you a way to see who has read & understood.
The Pros:
Small QoL, allows you to see who has understood the message.
The Cons:
Might be tricky to code (idk).
