Rdm or not

So this police makes me stop my truck, asks me if I can give him my keys so he can check what's in side and after tells me all ok and I can go on. After that when I was about to leave, a car stops, one guy gets out and points a gun at the police guy and threats his life. My question here is, am I allowed to shoot at the guy that is threatening the police or I have to make a initiation? Also there was 3 more people with the other guy but they stayed in side the car.

You MUST make seperate initiation as you are a member of a seperate party.

Given that police are not supposed to team up with rebels, if police initiate on the opposing rebels, it does not give you the all clear to shoot rebels too. Your party must announce themselves seperate from the police and your demands must be made clear e.g "put your hands up in the air and tuck them behind your ears where I can see them otherwise a bullet will part your skull right between the eyes".
