Racing application idle active race timer

Hello, so I would like to suggest implementing a timer of some sort so that if someone sets up an active race on the laptop, if the race has not started within a certain amount of time, let's say 10-15 minutes. The race will delete from the active races automatically.

This is because you can only host 1 race of a specific track at a time and recently someone has hosted the track and just left it active (not started the race) and then gone about their business.

This behaviour then causes the track to be locked off with nobody else able to host the track and race it, this is kinda of a troll thing to do as we have a growing race scene.

In short my suggestion is to put a timer so that if a race is hosted then it has to start within 10 minutes or so of being hosted or it will be removed from the active races automatically.

+1, This idea is beneficial.

If it's a case of you also need to be in the area of the race track to setup a race, I'd suggest making it so that if the owner of the race leaves the nearby area of the track the app automatically cancels the race and sends the event organiser a message to let them know.

If this was yesterday, that was me lol. Laptop bugged out. But yeah change is nessecary with that. I don't even understand why there can only be 1 race at a time, but that's a topic for another day I guess.

All good it's not the first time this has happened. Like you say if someone has issues, that's the racing done for on that track. As there are weekly challenges running at the moment too, quite often means 1 track is wanting to be done by a fair few people and once it's locked out that's basically racing done for for the storm on that track.

Yeah that's proper dead. Definitely needs to be fixed.
