Now, there is a story behind why this is titled 'Pain In The Ass' and you are going to have to read it before I get into the heart of the build.
So, I decided after buying many pre-built computers I was going to finally build my own one as I worked for the Summer Holidays and saved up enough to do so so somewhere in the middle of August I ordered all my PC parts to a total of €1056.72 from Scan.co.uk. It was very worrying seeing your bank account before and after a purchase like that but anyway, a week later all the parts arrived and one day after school I sat down at my desk to build it. It went well for the most part in the building process, a few pains like wires and stuff but when it was all said and done, I plugged it in, pressed the power button and... nothing. I was frustrated sure but I was determined to get it done so I redone everything, took everything out, built it again but this time without the graphics card to see if that was the problem and it worked, it posted so I powered it off, popped the graphics card in, plugged everything in and it didn't work. So I felt like the gpu was fucked and all I had to do was take it out and send it off for replacement.
During the process of taking the GPU out, I forgot to unclip the graphics card from the PCI-E slot which caused some tear and by some tear I mean I ripped the PCI-E slot off the motherboard. I thought this was the end and a huge waste of money but there was light, there was another PCI-E slot so I used that, computer worked just fine but I noticed it wasnt working as well. So after a few inquiries and some help from @Gazalad we found out the problem was the slot my GPU was in was a 2nd generation PCI-E slot and it was running on the x4 bus interface which essentially meant my GPU was running at a quarter of its potential speed.
Skip ahead 4 months I decided to buy a new motherboard and CPU cooler as I was previously running on the stock cooler.
So now, the original specs and then the upgrade!

Sorry for bad quality, Lighting is terrible and the camera isn't the greatest indoor camera.
