I will complete the story, I was camping at drug dealer with my friend @ unmc zone. You decided to fly over with your chopper and mark our positions in sidechat with the note ' Dont go here, possible robbery '.
I already asked Neo and he said it was not allowed.

Its metagaming, everyone can see the map, you dont know who you are marking. Its different if like its cops vs rebels and you know the only people you are looking at is cops, but marking it for the general public to see id call meta, mark it in group i guess?

Reasom I flew over processor, was for overwatch for someone who was going there.
1. As I sad, I checked the server rules, nothing about it.
2. Purpose; Mark with GPS, to warn others yes. Did not use any name or what so ever.
3. When it comes to metagaming, I've done alittle research;
In role-playing games, a player is metagaming when they use knowledge that is not available to their character in order to change the way they play their character (usually to give them an advantage within the game), such as knowledge of the mathematical nature of character statistics, or the statistics of a creature that the player is familiar with but the character has never encountered.
Here it clearly said; use of knowledge that is not avaliable to their character in order to change the way they play their character.
In reallife, you are able to create marks on your GPS, so that others can see it via satelite signals (if connected). Which I was simulating ingame here.
But, as I said in TS to you; At the point those markers was put down, it was for one purpose only; Secure the travelers.
By that time, there was no-way A regular player could know that was against the server rule, when its not put on the "book of law".
When you sent me that copy of msg with Neo, thats all fine when he said its illegal, but you cant expect someone to know that when;
1. Its not on the server rules.
2. Its not mentioned when you wiki "metagaming".
If it is against the server rules, ofcourse that will not happen at any point, but please put it down some where for future reference.

Just to point out, the police cannot see the markers, only Civilians can. Secondly, this is not metagaming as his character knows where it is. But it is metagaming for people to USE the info. We will be adding this into the rules in a near period of time.

So you are saying putting something like this in side chat ie legal: '' Dont go to Kavala drug dealer guys, cops there! Dont go to weed processor guys! Robbery there! ''. Its allowed to say? Only bannable when you use it?
