Question regarding medic combat reviving , for the admins

So as we all know at time firefights occur and people die. But i have a question regarding combat reviving.

Im asking this as a perspective of a cop. What do i do if i am 150 meters away on a building from a medic who is combat reviving an armed rebel.

I ask this as i have had scenarios where i have had too shoot 3 meters away from medics to make them leave and they dont. Does the rule about not killing medics still count if there are trying to reveive someone with a big gun who has killed cops , and it is an active gun fight?

A thing that rarely happens , but if it does i would like too know what im aloud to do , thanks.

( just to clarify i spoke to the medic in TS and explained he cant combat revive)

Sounds like a question for NHS higher up's, rather than staff.

As far as I can see, landing bullets near the medic that is combat reviving would be acceptable if nobody was able to alert them by voice. This indicates beyond doubt that there is still active combat. Second to that, I believe you have an 'inter-department chat', which is shared by NHS and cops, perhaps a message in there would help?

Under no circumstance should you kill the medic. Although I have heard of times when medics may be killed, they are extreme circumstances and should not be resorted to. If it gets to this point and warning shots have been ignored, I would suggest allowing the combat revive to take place, potentially losing the situation, and speaking with the medic involved with their higher up present after.

However, as I said, I think this question could be answered better by the NHS themselves.

I believe the question was more about what he should do when it happens, seen from an admin perspective.

I have seen two occasions where a medic had to be shot for not listening, and both times the medic was swiftly removed from the NHS. It's brought up right when they join that combat reviving is not to be done, so anyone doing it will obviously be removed from the medics if it's clear that combat was going on in the area.

Knowing what to do is a difficult one, if it were me, I'd likely text an admin ingame and inform them what's going on. Other than that there's not much you can do within the rules to stop the medic. Personally, I'd be happy for the rule to be changed to allow killing a medic that's not following orders or combat reviving.

@DainMK @CMO Marc Smith, thanks for the quick feedback , i will let the medic chain of command know if it happens again, as its bad too have shot landing by your feet and you still revive and ignore them.

@Wilco , maybe you could do what Marc said and edit the rule to something like " A medic can be killed if he is breaking rules like combat reviving or has not listened to a threat to his life , for example told leave the dead guy or be shot" , clearly if you were to edit the rule you would make it more clearer than that , but you get the idea.
