Question regarding backpacking weapons in a gun fight - Question for Staff / Managment

So I was wondering what is the rule on killing someone who has backpacked there gun in a gun fight. Are we aloud to kill them or not?

Example -

In a active gun fight and a rebel runs off behind a tree and backpacks his gun. You see him backpack and he starts running for a hill. Are you aloud to kill him as you know he is involved or do you need to wait for him to draw his gun again?

 
Actually i have no idea, i stored my gun on my back when i was outgunned and i still got killed.

But who knows.

 
If you watched them do it, go ahead. If you saw them with identifiable clothing with a weapon previously, go ahead.

Problem happens when you never saw them with a weapon but you "know" they have one. At that point you can re-initiate but they could "technically" just shoot you. It's a grey area really.

Basically if you can visibly identify them without any metagaming having previously had the weapon while in combat then go ahead. I wouldn't generally risk it and using good RP will always cover you.

 
IF YOU HAVE SEEN SOMEONE SHOOT AT YOU AND THEY BACKPACK THEIR GUN ITS THEIR FAULT FOR MAKING THEMSELVES VULNERABLE AND ATTEMPTING TO BE A SNEAKY TOOL TO AVOID DEATH.

Shoot them.

They call RDM, it's not.

When playing as a cop if I see a rebel holster or backpack their gun after they've tried to kill me\killed others I will kill them or give the kill order.Why pussy off if you started the fight? They are probably running to get an actual vantage point and starts shooting again anyway.

 
The counter point to this, would rebels not shoot police who don't have a gun?

If you see they shoot, kill them.

What I have always done to be honest. I just like to get things very clear ( to see staff / management say its cool) , just gives less chance of being banned for it in the future :)

I am not staff or management though, merely just support (I suppose technically staff) so they might have a different perspective on the matter BUT even if it seen as shitty in their eyes you wouldn't have broken a rule. 

 
If the person has the nerve to backpack their weapon after they have just been shooting at someone they deserve to die over and over and over.
