Question for all about hobo's/new too the server

Hello.

When im in kavala i do meet several "new guys" that even asking for how you do stuff, using all the keys, etc. 

What my question is.. if you do have a van/car could you than ask them inside the van/car and talk inside about the server rules as long its only on vehicle's mic too talk "non-rp" and ask them how long they have been on RP,  How you roleplay and even some tip for the new guys. 

In the longterm, this method could be better than record and report them for the poor RP. We have the low RP cause that is their first day even on RP and we do have the guys that only wish to make chaos and rdm everyone. I mean we should take the first ones somewhere where you can talk too them and explain how it is and if they wont listen.. well.. nothing too help them.

Please do have a open mind and think both from your own view and the new players.

If someone makes a genuine mistake, apologies and attempts to rectify it if possible and as staff we can recognise that, we won't ban. If they need a helping hand, we can only do so much as staff because of the amount of other players we have to help, hence why it's left to each individual to help themselves. We can try do what we can, leave resources on the forums such as guides and information but it's something that people have to learn more than they can be shown.

I know from personal experience that if players are new and they bump into the right guy, they'll get all the help they need doing the method that you stated; although technically bannable to break roleplay even in a car, if both players permit and there's no chance of anyone else coming into contact with them verbally and the player doesn't grasp the concept of "note passing" and asking to TS, i see no issue with it (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS PERSONAL OPINION).

I've done what you described more than once. I used Vehicle channel to chat to them about OOC about controls, rp etc. then make it clear that noramlly it must all be in character, and that once we jump out of the car he is once again enrolled in Zeito's Outdoorsman & Survival Training. Been watched before by staff and wasn't banned. Guy even accidentally shot me which would have been RDM, I got revived and we rolled it off as a Negligent Discharge when the police turned up and that it was my fault as instructor for handing my student a loaded weapon before doing the safety course. No bans, all good fun, guy had a great time, then i sent him off into the world.

I would like to think that if done with good intentions, you'll be fine.
