Hi all

this is mainly to admins, im just wondering when i am able to report someone or a group for continuous false accusations,

the reason i ask this is due to being accused by a group for over 2 weeks now of being a hacker, it all started when one person couldnt accept a fair kill against him, and now i am being accused by quite a few people in that group of being a hacker and it is not appreciated as when it is being said in side chat everyone on server can see that and it is giving me a bad name, and it doesnt make me or my clan look good at all when these false and quite frankly rediculous accusations are being said.

if need be i would have no problem allowing an admin remote control to scan my entire computer to show that i do nothing like that, i dont see the point.

i know the people doing it are not reporting anything to forum but it is getting really annoying to me being accused of something that is a seriously bannable offence, when i have done nothing wrong.

im not naming any names but id like to know from admins primarily.

 
I see. I'm hear to clarify that when we were fighting you the cops even said that you had a mass amount of health.

 
Well I won't go into the bwsc and police working together, but I am not talking about tonight alone, this has been going on for over 2 weeks.

And how do you expect me to go down in life when not a single bullet hits me, I can provide proof if needed, plus I was being called a hacker way before that scenario.

We have been joking with you. Or at least I have been. We don't mean any of this. It's just joking with you. We are enemies so thats why we say stuff like that its for the banter sorry. 

 
Just to add to the actual topic, can we report someone for constantly making player reports that get rejected? Maybe a forum temp ban and when the are unbanned they have to read the rules? Because its annoying as shit seeing the same people reporting people for pathetic reasons.

 
Try rule 0 if they keep on doing this, it's considered bullying and against rule 0.

False accusations towards someone that is innocent that could potentially permanently ban them is not what I would call a joke or banter. It's bullying.

For banter to be banter both parties need to participate in the 'Banter'

 
Being accused of hacking happens all the time across many games and servers. However, in most cases the game finishes and everyone forgets about it. Altis life is different, you play with the same people daily and anything that kicks up between two people / gangs tends to stick for a period of time. 

Being falsely accused of anything is wrong and will no doubt make you feel unwelcome.  This should not be the case. If someone believes you are hacking, they take it to the forums with video evidence and let the staff team look into it. They should not repeatedly accuse you of hacking and be nasty to you, this is wrong.

A lot of the time, people will say stuff which never happened in order to make it seem that they weren't at fault. For example, "Oh, the fence didn't show up for me" or "He must have been hacking" when in reality these aren't the case. We're all guilty of doing these at least once in some scenario (real or virtual.)

If this carries on over the next few days, I would advise you to speak to someone about it. If you are unable to get in touch with an admin, the mentor team are here to help. You can find us at the top of teamspeak or anyone with the mentor tag :)

Taking it straight to the forums with unclear evidence will kick up something unnecessary; especially if you're accusing police or large gangs.

I will keep an eye on this. If you can get me some screen shots/video of the same people doing it a lot I will enforce Rule 0.

I have not accused anyone of hacking unless it has been extremely clear that is the case. From my PERSONAL viewpoint however it is obvious to me why such accusations are made. I'm sitting on the fence with accusations about [bG] superhitmandan as he has yet to kill me in a combat situation.

But looking at the facts from a third party position regarding last night ONLY.

  • All [bG] members died with the exception of [bG] superhitmandan.
  • The Police stated that [bG] superhitmandan had exorbitant amounts of health - it is possible he was using medkits or had someone consistently exploiting the VDM script nearby
  • The 2 BWSC Members to fall were myself (glitched on a ladder) and BWSC Jordan (killed by superhitman) - who has accused superhitmandan of hacking in the past. This was a 1 shot kill.
  • The one shot kill in my PERSONAL belief was a sniper headshot and a bloody good one
  • We never found superhitmandan. However it was suspected he was a minimum of 800 metres out from the conflict. So 1 shot head shots are either hacks, extremely skillful or pure luck.
That being said. If some of the players on here were using something like rapid fire on their mouse for shooting (something well used on CS:GO and L4D2 Promod) then I wouldn't be surprised. I am not going to say that is a hack. But if someone feels the need to use such enhancements that says a huge amount for their 'skills'
I'm not going to involve myself in this dispute further. However remote scans are pointless as anyone with any common sense would remove said hacks before the scans are done. So I'm not even going to go there.

Anyway. Those are my opinions and conclusions. Am going to finish my coffee now and await this trains arrival into Taunton in 13 minutes :)

I was 765 metres away when I killed Jordan, he was running around in a building with other hostiles. I took more than one shot but the one bullet that hit him killed him then he rants in side chat,I have no sort of enhancements what so ever to improve my game play, I am all natural thanks.

The police can say I had shit loads of health all they like, if none of you hit me with a single bullet which I can provide admin video of the whole scenario if need be. How do you expect me to be killed, especially if you didn't really know where I was. My distance from you allowed me to be a needle in a haystack to you.

I don't appreciate your saying I was possibly exploiting, not nice especially when I was on my own in my location, again I can prove this.

Yep this happened to me in reality, was having a cycle ride to clear my head as I was really really drunk, i had no idea there was a curb infront of me, damn dsync was real that day, after I crashed I looked back and saw it fine

 
As I said to Jordan in side chat, I hit him with a 7.62mm round, which as I'm sure you know, hit in the right critical area being the chest or head can be a 1 hit kill

Just came back and read this, made me burst out laughing in the middle of my works office lol. That desync though ;)
