Question about water cooling

Hi all,

I have a question about watercooling, currently in my setup, I have just the Corsair H100i GTX, which is fine and does the job, but I want to put another MSI GTX 980ti in there. I'm also thinking about doing a custom loop.

My question is, can I use the backplate that comes with my card, I would like to be able to use this one, because it is the golden edition card and it looks quite nice in my case as it matches the colour scheme.

i dont see why not, but dont go off my word because i have never fitted water cooling i dont trust water near me pc

Thanks for the reply, I know it can be watercooled, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can keep using the stock backplate that the card uses.

Should be able to, but tbh your not going to know 100% until you fit it, but considering you can purchase backplates for watercooled setups I would be suprisedd if it wouldn't fit.
