So I think it would be best to start of by  tagging management , as they are the ones with the answers.

The rule I am asking a question about

(3.5) Restraining & Zipties - If you have been restrained or detained, you must broadcast your communications through direct chat until your radio has been removed from you in roleplay.

So the rule has now changed and we can talk in the radio when restrained as well as talking in game. To stop this will you have to RP with someone saying I am taking your radio or do you need to literally take it off them. This is because I think people will abuse the fact there is no actual way to remove someones GPS / Radio and they will power game the situation.

So im asking is a '' I am taking you radio off you now'' , good enough RP for them too not talk on the radio any more or not. The reason for asking is because I am quite confused how this is going to work , and would like to know the right way to go about it so I don't get banned or get into some disputes due to confusion. Hopefully someone in staff / mangament will be able to help and answer my question ( will benefit me and everyone else who read the thread). Thanks :)

Edit - Answering the question will benefit a lot of people who are wondering the same as me , as there are quite a few people who are wondering / curious how its going to work. So a reply will be very beneficial to us.

Tell the person to physically remove the radio and GPS at gunpoint.

IE: I am unrestraining you, remove your GPS/Radio put it on the ground or else I will shoot you.

A precedence was set with the kieron report

Assume this. If a person is restrained and someone says that they are going to take their radio, which is usually mounted on their vest anyway within reason, at this point the radio should be dropped or no longer used.

Ultimately if all you receive is someone from several meters away saying "I'm taking your radio" then, no, this is just crap role play and is just not good enough. But like in the aforementioned report if the person makes it obvious and makes an effort to "reach and take the radio" then cease using it.

and at the end of the day its all about the (colors and stuff ---->) roleplay. So if someone "takes your radio" just be courteous, don't try to use a technicality to keep using it, just drop it.
