Question about RDM rule

So i just had this happen to me, car blocks the road in front of me and guy says get out of the truck.
I drive into the field and return to the road about 500m from where RP was initiated.
guys sitting by the road shoots me without saying anything.
Is this allowed? how long does "Initiated RP" apply for?
And also "stop the car" is a bit of a half assed way to initiate RP and kind of a shitty way of playing.
Anyways i'd just like if someone more familiar with where this rule applies could clear it up.

Yes this is allowed, as long as they can be 100% sure that it was YOU they engaged roleplay with.

Is it shit roleplay? Kinda, there are two sides and both sides have different stories. For the robbers it may seem like you are going to park somewhere and snipe them, so they will eliminate you if you don't listen. From your perspective, you just want to get the fuck out of there.

How long roleplay initiation is actice is as long as the situation is going on. Personally, I have the thumb rule, if there has been no action from the initiated roleplay session for 10-15 minutes, then I find that the roleplay situation has ended.
