Possible to get in despite ping limit?

So I have a friend in Australia that we would like to join us on here, but his ping is too high. Is there anything at all that someone can do to bypass this limit? Donating?

No donating won't bypass the limiter, your best chance is to try server 2 as it has a higher ping limit.

Unfortunately, there is no way to bypass the limit, the only thing I can recommend is better internet but even then I guess his ping may be too high. Hopefully, the ping limit will soon be raised as we are isolating ourselves from the other country player bases.

it's unlikely to be raised, it was implemented to provide a good game for everyone with decent pings and not being spoilt by those with excessive pings flying around the place

We're a UK\EU Server, not a global one, while I agree it'd be amazing to have more people from a larger variety of countries, with arma the way it is - it's just no feasible sadly
