Hi, I have heard that the police age may be moving up to 18+ only. So I have two questions 

1. Will Police who are 16 and 17 still be in the police.

2. Why are you increasing the age surly it shouldn't be based on age but on rp ability (in my opinion it should be reduced to 15 or 14 definitely to raised.

Age is usually altered as the police wants a certain level of maturity across the force, which is I dare say is low (on average) with younger players. However there are some nice surprises.

I don't think people will be kicked off the force for being too young. If you got past examination and have not been kicked off the force, chances are you are mature enough. However in the past people have been denied higher positions like sergeant for being too young.

With regards to the changes, if they are legitimate and going to be implemented -

Anyone currently in the Police will be fine. They passed all tests and had all the requirements at their time of joining so it would be extremely unfair to be booting them simply because of an age change considering they've already been an active member of the force for some time.

As the Server continues to grow it is important that the Police can provide a higher quality service so that the newer people on the server can see what it's all about. As they are quite likely to see the Police it is important that we make the right first impression and help further encourage them to stay on the server. Also, there are many applications being created per day and modifying the age requirement is a very simply way of allowing them to further filter the Applications and make it tougher to get in. With age is a certain level of maturity that is expected so I imagine that has something to do with it, not to say that the younger Officers have been acting wrongly, because they haven't.
