How should we and the police act in a couple of situations.

We had been doing some bad stuff. One officer had constrained one of us. Then one of us with a weapon approach the police and tells him to drop his gun and lay down.

The police just turns towards him and tazes him. Don't bring a gun to a tazer fight

Just wonder how should we have acted to save our friend? Is it OK to just shoot the cop if we are wanted and he have constrained one of us? We were not doing drugs.

In another situation when shoots had been fired between us and the cops we just shoot one officer (with the previous episode fresh in memory) that had constrained one of us.

But after we had a conversation with the cop we shoot were he complained about bad rp as we just shoot him. But it was only one of us left and we were just in a fire fight with him and if we would have initiated talking rp and he as the other cop would just taze us then it would be all over.

Was it OK just to shoot the cop in this situation? We had been shooting at each other so it was a more hostile situation.

In about 4 out of 5 situations with the cops they just taze us when we are initiating rp while being armed. And each time we say that the next time we should just act as our rp attempts almost always end up in being insta tazed and constrained. But at the same time we can't just shoot the cops...

The 1 out of the 5 situations the cop initiated good rp and we thanked him for the good game play. But then the situation was not 1 on 1 but 4 guys on one cop and everyone walked away alive.

Well I can help you with this chum. Well take the example that your friend was carrying an illegal weapon. I would say your biggest problem is panicing and rushing over to help. You should stop take a step back and assess your options.

The cop will

Take the weapon off him and either fine or prison. If he is fined then he just refuses to pay the fine and they go to prison. The most important thing is to stay out of sight, not draw any attention to yourself. If your seen back up will be called or you get tazed.

1. Sneak up knock the officer out. Stand behind he and till him not to move, drop his gear and then unrestrain your mate if he goes to taze knock him out again and start again. They will fold.

2. Set up an ambush between the contact area (AO) and police HQ. Then try number one if you get the cop out. If not shot him amd lockpick the car and your mate.

3. Break him out of jail.

Another key thing is to try and get your mate to stall him in anyway he can without telling the cop that your near. This gets you some great planning and set up time.

This should work and save in both bullets and arguments. Plus its fun as hell.

Shooting them while your friend was restained is RP enough to shoot them.

Killing with RP doesn't mean you have to tell them you're going to open fire, some situations don't require communication. Although; I would still advise doing so as sometimes you get some butthurt people that will claim RDM anyway because they're too arrogant to realise why they were killed.

Best thing that i would suggest would be to get the person who is restrained to tell the officer arresting him that he has 5 seconds to release you or your friends are going to shoot. That way you give the officer a decision he has to make.
 

1) Call your bluff and continue to arrest you.
2) Release you, risking being taken hostage.
3) Take cover call in back up.

4) Quickly place you in the vehicle and take you to somewhere safe where you can then be sent to prison.

5) Ignore you... Bites the bullet.

As above bizby raised perfect points. But really if your friend is under restraint wanted for carrying an illegal weapon and is about to be banged up I would of expected you to put a bullet in the police officer or a few near him forcing him to move seek cover and call in back up. It's nice to see you resorted to a peaceful solution and to be honest the cop should of surrendered 360 no scope is no fun. But ideally if the roles were reversed and you had a police officer hostage with a weapon in there face. It would happen that a shot would be fired.

One question about an ambush. The cops where chasing a guy I was playing with. I drove a separate car and was not chased.

I drove a head and sat up an ambush on a small hill by the road. When the guy being chased and the cop emerged I opened fire on the cop and he turned away.

Was this OK? I don't remember why he was chased but we had been naughty but we were not doing drugs. Was the situation OK as rp as the cops were chasing a wanted person and he phones his friend to help him?

RP was established by attempted police apprehension of someone you knew,so yes.
