i do not like the fact that you canot kidnap CSO and PCSOs reason is that earlier today i was trying to kidnap a cop i told him to get out of the car and it was onyl a cso so a liet him go and i find his superior and i shout to him get on the ground...ect and the cso comes up and restrains me.

i think it should be cso have to log out or engage in the rp and go along with the hostage

Valid point I'd recommend telling the CSO "You are useless." and shoot him in the head then take the other cop hostage.

The fact that you cannot take the men hostage doesn't lesson the fact that they are still officers in training. Yes it was a dick move perhaps, but if you knew there were more officers in the area and to the power of three I take it you were alone. The senior had yet to drop his radio so comm chatter would of lit up with officers ready to back up someone being taken it seems you forgot that yes a Cso is in training but they are hardened battle veterans from countless wars just because they do not have a gun doesn't mean they rant effective did you expect him to run home to base and cower in a corner?

All that aside seems like an unlucky situation maybe next time bring more guys so they can watch your back ?

The way i see it is that you cant involve rp hostage with them but they can interfere

I spoke briefly on my thoughts regarding hostage taking here:

You could force them to do things where they are, but moving them (aka taking them hostage) would just result in them re-spawning.

EG:
Stripping
Removing gear/Equipment
Singing
Dancing
Lying down

But if you force them to enter a vehicle or a building, I would say that's a hostage situation. Sounds fair I hope? They are new and getting kidnapped isn't really helping them train. It takes up a lot of their time, and our's as police. Which is one of the reasons Wilco and Mitch have asked that they explicitly NOT be taken hostage.
And what Maratek pointed out is true. It's server rules you can't take CSO/PCSO's hostage. But they can still interact with it.

Main point, is that they cannot be a "hostage" (see above quote). So you can RP that you've taken their handcuffs so can't restrain you. Or tell them not to move at gunpoint. But they still have to be dealt with. And ignoring them and trying to hostage someone else/break laws can result in you getting arrested and restrained by that person.

usualy I would do this but it's harder in hostage situations today I was in Kavala and I saw a guy selling dope so I went up and robbed him bein the silly goose I am there was a PCSO behind me and bless he's cheeks tried to raze me. I flanked round and saw him hiding behind a tree. I told him to drop his gear and forget it ever happend. But when if I had to tried to rp with the CSO OC snape was already firing tazer shots at me and if I had stood trying to rp it would have ended bad
