For the next few weeks I will be acting as the Police and Crime commissioner on the server.

This was planned before Maratek's decision today to step down as commander.

Does this mean i am running the police ? No... however i have the power to make changes and changes will be made.

If you are not in the police and have a few million in your bank then times are about to change, The police will become more effective on this island meaning more chance of you getting caught.

Anyone considered deadwood or causing trouble in the police force which is renowned for internal drama will not last long.

The weekly meetings usually result in a vast number of people getting easy promotions and everyone "fake" clapping... promotions no longer mean anything and a prime example of this is the CSO who made PC in 3 hours.

This is no doubt the best Altis Life server in the world or close to it, we already know its the best in Europe and the UK therefore its only right it has the best Police force in the world.

Please bare with us during these changing times the end result will be a police force thats effective and active by people who actually want to be there.

I like this alot. 

However I dislike that maratek is gone, however I like that you're pretty much in. 

Wow, I think I need to be checked out.

 
+1 on this one. I have kept saying it's wrong to easy promote no matter what. You just cannot in any circumstances proof yourself and earn that in 3 hours.

 
I very much agree with this.  When I was in the force over here we were held responsible to the police commission, which were a group of civilians that were appointed to guide the police in their daily operations but held no police powers.  They also were the ones that delt with police complaints.

I am curious about what our bank accounts have to do with the police force though.

 
I will miss Maratek as a leader, he have done good things, but, I see this with open eyes, and I'm up for it. It's needed.

Well thats a easy one to answer if your doing drug runs... My 3rd steam profile has been doing drug runs for the last few weeks on the server

I am not going to go into how much I have in my account due to people trying to find out my alter ego.... but its in the xx millions all via money i have done on drug runs during various points of the day/evening and night.

How many police have pulled me over ? I will let you guess!

Maybe we should set up a separate branch of the police force called the DEA!

Well I am doing something wrong.  As soon as I drive any truck close to Kavala I get pulled over.  To bad for them its full of iron.

Just glad to hear your not taxing for the policeman's ball or something.

but was you wanted while doing the drugs, we cant just pull people over for nothing obviously if you was near the field you should be pulled over but if we have no reason to pull over we cant really.

Yeah i'm mostly intrigued as to what changes will be coming.

I'm gonna make a request now as I do almost every week and ask if we can have some transparency when it comes to changes, not necessarily an input from everyone, rather a one way conversation directed at everyone, discussing upcoming changes. This will give everyone a better feeling of unity.

I wont go too much into it all.

Simply, I look forward to some changes Wilco.

 
Could do but seeing they all hung out in one group and recruited people who thought fucking around rather than roleplaying and actually doing some police work was a better thing to do it didnt work out...

Unfortunatly as people will see I am not going to be holding myself back, People will get a truthful Wilco, In this position for as little time as it will be (a few weeks) my goal will be to make this police force more effective as well as making it more fun for people.

13 cops on a 100 slot server means there is more of an issue right now and im going to address that head on, We will see what it is but my think is the amount of information overload Police officers have from day one.

Nope.  Usually no reason given, no bounty either.  They say its a random stop to check license and registration.

Wilco, we've never really spoken or had much contact in regards to the police, but you've done a damn fine job with the server as a whole - so I'm looking forward to this.

There will be changes people wont like, I will also bring things that people will love and the end result when i walk out again is a police force that is more active, more fun and with the power shared across multiple people rather than on the stress of 1 person.
