Yes it is. You can be in NHS and Police at the same time.
Also in various command ranks of the NHS, it restircs you in what rank you can achieve within the police force. There ranks being:
CST, you can be a DSGT and not higher in police at the same time ( I belive exeptions can be made)
CMO, you can be SGT and not higher in police at the same time.

I'd go as far as to say it's encouraged. Contact a CMO on TS since yes it is allowed!
