Pokemon GO available now

Pokemon GO was released in Australia and New Zealand last night, so you can download the APK (Android only, sorry) already and install it. Once the game comes out, just redownload it via Google Play and your data should be synced (as you login with a Google Account).

I live in Brighton - there's a lot of PokéStops around here... and my girlfriend lives in London. This won't end well for me.

I've already got like 10 Pokémon.

I highly suggest not downloading the APK files, there is chances of viruses, and not to mention, when you get the official version you will get wiped and be forec to restart.

Not necessarily. You log in with your Google Account and, I assume, it will sync that data. We'll see though!

No sign of a virus on my phone after a scan. With so many news outlets linking into the source I linked above, I'd be very surprised if it did have a virus.

You can catch all the starter Pokémon and their evolutions in the wild. You can also get them from eggs.
