Probably a dumb question however have you actually tried the steps shown on the screen? 'Make sure all hardware and software are installed correctly'

Step 1: GO MAKE A BACKUP NOW

Step 2: troubleshoot

  • does this only happen whilst gaming ?
  • Is your computer sat next to a radiator
  • Has it been moved recently
  • can you force this to happen
  • what have you done so far to fix it
  • Next time this happens, when you reboot your machine please go into your event log and see if there are any critical errors (or if you can remember the last time it happened check out the event log for that day)

I had this problem and my solution after a week or two of constant installs was defective ram my computer had surged during a power cut and my ram had become faulty. Do a MemTest+86 to test your RAM if it is the cause.

The best method to all series of fault testing is firstly find out if the fault is software side ....

i.e install a fresh copy of windows and if that doesnt work

the issue is hardware side :D

Unless you know where to look hardware wise id suggest putting it in a shop otherwise

try this I havent proof read through it but i looked at it and it seemed like it might have the answers.

Then replace the faulty hardware and bobs your transexual aunty :D

Please do not just tell users to reinstall their OS as a 'diagnostic' step to what could be a relatively minor issue with a driver. This is poor advice.

It eliminates all software problems :D and this is not poor advice because it works.

No, it is shit advice. That's like recommending suicide to someone who has stubbed their toe. Wise up.

I don't understand where you get your knowledge from but I am not going to argue with you. You seem to know best :)

I agree with @Zeitoif its a hardware problem there is no need to re-install windows. Re installing your OS is always last resort
