*Please Help* Random Lag Spikes

I keep getting random stutters or lag spikes that last about 3-4 seconds in total where the game is just frozen.

^ Example of what I mean. It normally happens a few seconds after joining the server first of all and then every now and again (maybe every 10 minutes or so).

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it please?

 
The Gif won work but does it randomly stop when driving around etc? 

What graphics cards and other specs have you got

have you got the latest a drivers?

 
I seem to get them too. Drivers are up to date, as is Windows. Using two GTX 980Ti's with SLI disabled.

I thought it was just me getting them. Will look into it properly later tonight.

I've been getting the exact same issue, doubt it's specific to you, should get fixed soon.

 
been getting i think the same, some lag spikes that last for like 3-5 sec. my setup isnt really made for arma, i but i do not think it did  this before, 

 
I get them too, had them since the big update on Arma. It also messed my fps up hopefully they'll fix it soon.

 
Same here... Either It's arma or my PC since I get it on altis aswell as KOTH.... But it seems I atleast only get it in multiplayer on arma...

 
defragging will help, but only to a minor degree. Most people also have SSD's now anyway.

I have page file, no clue what it does (forgot) or if i should/how to change it.

16GB 2400MHZ RAM, 970 MSI, I5 3570K @3.4GHZ and a 500GB SSD with an empty, old 1TB HDD

 
Seems like it's arma related!

this is what you do:

1. Uninstall Arma 3

2. Live happy life

3. ???

4. Profit

A page file will write data in your ram to the hdd, this is for systems that are low on ram  as you have 16 GB you shouldn't need a page file. Unless you start doing heavy duty video editing which utilises scrubbing. Easiest is to Google how to disable page file as I'm on my mobile.
