Pissed by people breaking the rules

Hello everyone,

I've been getting robbed ALOT even tho i dont have any money with me or anything usefull, but the problem is i get robbed in the green zones.
When i call the cops they dont even respond, there are rebels running everywhere with assault rifles and the cops just pass them like they are scared to die,
Arent they supposed to defend the civillians? doesnt look like it but sorry im getting kinda annoyed by everytime i buy a new truck it gets stolen in 5 minutes while the truck and i are in the green zone.
And when i was with my friend processing Copper, 2 guys told us to get out of the car when we wanted to drive away since we were done, so we did, they immediatly shot me when i got out of the car for no good reason? everytime i get out of the car my dude pulls his gun, maybe thats why they shot me, but since they are rebels and got alot of money and know alot of the game they should know this?.. 

I'm sorry its just getting insane with this not roleplaying guys.. they just do whatever they want and the cops dont even bother to stop them.

Also when i call the cops when i've been robbed they dont reply, they dont even bother to come along..

You have to remember that there is at best 30 police officers to manage 90 or so civilians, and its narrowed down to 15 patrol units or less. It is very difficult for the police to monitor and control everything. Also with the texts, they receive dozens of them, often saying nothing other then 'Help' position withheld. You have to be able to see if from the police perspective as well. They are out manned and outgunned against a lot of rebel groups with guns with twice the caliber of that of the police. And every time they do try and do something reckless to help a civilian they always get told 'Value your life! why do these police never value their life!'

It's very difficult to keep the island under control, especially with it being so large and a third of it being restricted access to most police officers. All I can say is travel in groups, get a gang or something together. It is a lot easier to stay safe in numbers. If you ever need help, notify me in game.

Joeyy - getting robbed sucks but is a big part of starting out in this game, i got robbed all the time and unfortunately copper is an easy target for rebels as it's the first thing new players usually get into that makes them some cash.

Remember the roleplay goes both ways, if you're armed and in your truck, put your gun in your bag so  you dont pull it out, or if you dont have a bag, tell them you're armed but you wont fire and you're going to surrender.

As for the greenzone robberies - recordings are your friend here. OBS is quite widely used by folk, or if you have a GTX6xx and higher graphics card you can make use of Shadow play which is great. Windows 10 also includes a game recorder if you're using that OS. It'll suck to be robbed in the greenzone since it shouldnt happen, but a recording will at least go towards that person being banned and not able to bother you again.

The police can be hit and miss when you call them, they've saved my bacon once or twice, but you can't rely on them as others have said - they're very thiny spread across altis. Travelling in numbers will help you, someone as a scout and someone as the seller, and just keep your wits about you

Don't let it get you down buddy, once you get made up a bit and have someone to travel with, you'll encounter much less trouble

Hello Delta, Thanks for the information, but the problem with the police is that when they come they just run around or dick around, and sometimes they dont show up at all, i know it could be because alot of people need police, and the island is this big, but still imo if you come to the area you should atleast help, i've also encountered a police in a car when i ran up to him i told him my friend is being robbed and still at the same place, the police said he would follow me and he did, i brought him to the place and all he did was look at him, didnt say a word, got back in his car, and drove off in the water.. (wtf?) it was really funny to encounter, but its annoying for my buddy since he lost 225k

And i really appreciate the help i can get from u, me and my friend are looking for a nice gang / rebelgang to join, we got our own gang atm to share stuff, but it would be better to join a rebelgang, u got any information on any rebelgang that is recruiting atm? and is willing to let some "new" guys in.

We just bought the game and we're already addicted to it and know alot about it since we look up alot on the net and youtube and stuff

(I know im not allowed to say that im new but does that also counts on the forum? if so. sorry about it)

Thanks man, me and my buddy normally travel together, but he wasnt online today so i was just farming some money on my own that i could share with him, but still annoying to encounter those dudes that rob on the green area.

Record and report those greenzone thiefs. Only the lowest of the low rebels rob new people doing legal shit, and unfortunatly its hard to counter this. But if u ever need help making some money or you get inn trouble with these scum rebels, dont be afraid to contact me ingame or on TS and il help you out

Hello peeps ive just added a post in the character stories saying i get robbed all the time, if we aint being robbed we're being shot at with no rp is getting shocking now driving us mental, yeh stick with it though mate and get urself a rebel license and some epic weapons like the MX's 6.5 etc, also recently ive been staying away from main roads and stashing me truck away from what we're attemping and that has helped me earn some good cash - if u see me on it give us a shout and we'll join up, the more the better im finding specially if have a scout to scout ahead or a chopper to keep an eye out - me names either rguyett or HiddenHippo ingame ok mate hopefully u make some easier cash soon :-D
