Was practising my flying today as i am trying to get better with 1st person.

Trying to get better with visual awareness of the helicopter when in 1st person.

Also practised on a couple of combat landings in 1st person.

Debating whenever between getting a joystick or keeping keyboard and mouse. Getting a TrackIR 5 soon to help better my piloting.

Sorry about the bad editing, i am half asleep.

Hope you guys enjoy as much as i did making it.

I could maybe make one if you like as i just learnt to land by myself. I remember when i used auto hover to land and then i saw someone landing without it around 2 years ago on a life server and i was like damn he is awesome. Then i tried to get myself better than him and practiced flying around untill i got the hang of helicopters and slowly started getting myselfy trying to combat land by watching the way other people landed on videos. But if its a yes i can maybe create a tutorial for the basics of helicopter landing and any other things that you are interested in.

Haha i wonder how painfull my neck will be when i get TrackIR  soon, i will have to keep turning constantly XD

If you want a joystick you need track IR, otherwise you can't use free look, if you get track IR you might as well get a joystick.

Nice vid dude, loving the landings!  I need more practice on those and the helicopters in general.

Do you have any joystick recommendations? Last joystick i brought was a waste of money.

That would be really nice ;) I know the basics of landing and flying. Only turns fast landings. Combat landings those things I don't know how to do. Flying low etc I can but not those things

Will try and get a tutorial up for you then if i have time today :)

I'm sure that UNMC airborne division members will be happy to give some flying lessons for a small fee :)

Yeah, i have been looking into them ones. Probally going to get one with Headtracking soon. Hopefully it betters my flying.
yeah, I have Track IR too. If you did not want to spend the money on Track IR I know there are actually free versions available that work with your webcam.
